 I was being cowardly.

I needed to grow a pair and go back to school.

I’m sure my grades are gonna suffer from it emen more, if I don’t.

It had been a week since I’d left at lunch, and then didn’t return.

I just didn’t want them to look anymore.

It fuelled the crazy idea in my mind that maybe, just maybe, they knew what happened after he died.

And I really hoped they didn’t.
