[ Your POV ]

< ... >

"Oh, and who will take OUR daughter?" I won't, she's useless!,"
"Well, I won't take her either, I hate her!,"

...

"Mom, Dad? What's with the yelling?,"
"Oh, dear ... Your father is drunk again!,"
"D-dad?,"
"Daughter ... I'm sorry. Have you heard what we said?,"
"W-well, you guys ... hate me! I'm useless!,"

Their eyes widened.

"Well, ofcourse you're useless!,"
The moment they said that, I could feel my heart tearing apart. Tears started to form in my eyes.

"Go to your bed, or else It'll have consequences!,"

I ran upstairs to my room, crying. I opened the door to my room roughly.

*BANG*

I jumped a bit, sweating badly.
"Miss Y/N, you haven't paid your rent in 6 months!,"
I was in my bed again? Tch.
I immediately got up and ran downstairs.
"Sir?," I sighed. "Y/N, when will you pay your rent?!," He yelled at me, angrily. My eyes widened. "Sir, I have no job right now, could you give me another month, please?," I said frustraded.

"No! It has been 6 months! Pack your bags and leave!," He yelled at me.

< ... >

"But, sir..," "No!," He cut me off. I sighed and went grab a backpack. I grabbed some clothes and a little bit of food and stuffed it into the backpack.

I ran downstairs again ...
"Sir, but I'll be homeless!," I sighed.
"I don't care!," He yelled at me, then pushing me outside, which made me fall to the ground. Well, that just happened ... But what am I supposed to do now? I'm basically homeless! Well, I could ask Selever .. but there's no way Ruv nor Sarv would let me live with them.

I let out a small sigh and still made my way to their huge church. I basically just had to cross the street and ... "Hey, watch out!," Someone yelled. I ran as fast as I could to the other side of the street. I could feel my heart beating really fast.

"You could've died, miss!," The person infront of me, said to me. I looked up and saw a man standing infront of me. He had brown curly hair and blue eyes .. just like the ocean. "Are you okay?," He asked me.

I nodded as he sighed in relief. "My name is Chase, what's yours?," He asked.
"Y/N, It's Y/N!," I replied giving him a smile.
"Well, Y/N. You better watch out next time!," I nodded and was about to walk away.

"Wait! Why do you've a backpack on your back, plus why are you going near that church?," He asked me. I sighed and walked towards him again. I pointed to 'my' apartment. "The owner of this apartment kicked me out, I'm basically homeless. Oh and I've got a 'friend' in that church that could help me," I sighed.

He looked concerned. "They probably won't be able to help me, though," I continued. Chase looked away, thinking.
"Well, I've got an Idea!," He said. I just noticed he's got an accent, a british one.
I raised an eyebrow and looked at him, confused.

"We just met, but maybe you'll be able to live with me!," He said. That honestly doesn't sound like a good idea. But it's either living on the streets, or with him.

"I've got a guest room, you can sleep in!,"
I nodded and followed him, where he leaded me to.
Honestly, he doesn't seem too bad. The thing is, I just met him. He quiet talks a lot actually, but that's ... fine.

< ... >

"We're here!,"
My eyes widened. He's got a really big house. "It looks amazing!," I said.
He chuckles a bit. "Your room is upstairs, just follow me," He said leading me to the  guest room. This man really has a whole ... mansion!

"Anyways, here's your room," He said opening a door to a luxury, cozy room.
My eyes widened in shock, wow.
"You can put your backpack on your new bed, then we can go downstairs!," He said closing the door, leaving me alone in this room.

I walked towards the bad and threw my backpack on the bed. I rubbed my eyes, I seemed pretty tired. I made my way to the door again and opened it. I walked downstairs where I could see Chase sitting on his couch.

"Come sit!," He said as I made my way to the couch. "So, Y/N. Tell me!," I nodded. "How old are you?,"
"I'm 17," I replied giving him a smile.
"That's nice. I'm 18!," He said. "Just a year,"
I nodded in response.
"Tell me about your life, if It's not too private," He then said.
I gave him a concerned face and sighed.

"I've been living here in this city, since I'm 15. I ran away from home. I wasn't quiet comfortable with living with my parents,"
"Hold on, what's your last name?," He cut me off.
I didn't feel comfortable with telling him my last name, but I still did.
"Parker," I replied. His eyes widened as he suddenly gave me ... a hug? I hugged him back as we both let go again. It was pretty awkward, but I needed that hug ...

"I've heard about your story, Y/N. I'm so sorry," He said giving me a sad face.
"It's fine,"

< ... >

"Want to watch TV?," He asked me. I nodded in response as he turned on the TV.

"Breaking news. 2 Guys made trouble in Florida, setting a whole street on fire ... -,"

"C-can we please switch the channel?," I asked Chase.
He just nodded with a normal face, switching the channel. I sighed and lookrd at the TV again.

"Oo, a horror movie!," I could hear Chase saying. I didn't respond and just looked at the TV. Chase rested his elbows on his legs and stared at the TV.
Actually I don't really like horror movies ..
Especially not this one. It has too many jumpscares in it.

< ... >

The first jumpscare came and I already jumped a bit. Chase noticed it. "If you don't want to watch this, It's okay," He said.
"N-no, it's fine!," I replied fake smiling at him. He just shruged and continued watching the movie. I grabbed a pillow, which was laying next to me and held it tight in my arms.

< ... >

When the movie was finally over I sighed in relief. "That movie was epic!," Chase said.
I just smiled and nodded in response.
"Can we please never watch any horror movie again?," I asked him terrified.
He chuckled a bit.
"Sure," He replied. ", By the way, we should head to bed now. It's already 10 p.m.," He said.
I nodded and we both headed upstairs to our rooms.
"Night Y/N," Is all he said before he closed the door to his room.
"Night," I mumbled under my breath closing my door.
