모험 (Moheom)

    "사랑해( I love you)..." Those were the only words I can hear.

        Another sunny and bright morning I, Hiraya De La Cruz a shy and weird person is getting ready for school like any other usual day. Once I got to school my friend, Cheska but I call her Chesa for short immediately came to me and bragged about her getting noticed by a Korean boy group which I really don't care because I don't really know them and I focus on studying to get good grades. The bell rang which means that class was about to start. Everyone started getting ready for a two hour long class. While the other students were getting ready I and my friend were chatting about stuff until our teacher came in and started the call.

      The bell rang again meaning that the 2 hour class was finally over. It was now break time and while on break time me and my friend would buy snacks from the canteen then we would roam around the school and talk about stuffs. While we were roaming she keeps on telling me stories about the Kpop group that she likes and I would just look around. While my eyes were roaming around I spotted a guy that caught my attention and a weird feeling came into my stomach. The boy and his friends or classmates were playing at the field. I didn't tell Chesa because she keeps talking and talking but I can still remember the boys face even until we got back at our room. "Did you know that I also have a Korean friend here at school? Let me introduce him to you tomorrow at lunch." Chesa said before entering the room. "Alright, sure." I said like I really didn't care.  It was now time for class again but the boy I saw kept bugging my mind. I can still his face in my imagination. I felt weird because this was the first time that I have felt something like this. The teacher entered the room and started the class.

       After  a long day at school I can still see his face clearly in my mind. The bell rang meaning that school is over and that we can finally go home. My home was the opposite way from Chesa's which means that I have to go and walk home by myself. I walk home because my parents are always busy and I don't want to take the bus since I wanted to save money and also walking is fun and is an exercise. While I was walking home a dog suddenly appear and started chasing me. I run for my life while the dog was still chasing me but suddenly someone pulled me into an alley, a face that was familiar.
 
         It was the boy who I saw earlier, the one who made me feel in an unusual way. He was still holding me and I suddenly felt the ones they called the "butterflies on my stomach". I also suddenly got the hiccups I didn't know why but the boy just giggled a little and he also realized that he was still holding me. He let my hand go and said "oh sorry, Hi I'm Benjamin but you can call me Ben for short. I am a varsity player at our school." "Oh so he is a varsity player but how come I have never heard about him or his name before?" I said to myself. "Oh hello, I am Hiraya and thank you for saving my life back there. If it weren't for you that dog would have probably bitten me." I said. "No problem. By the way I have to go but see you around Hiraya." He said before he leaves.

        I got home and I was still in shock about what happened. I went to my room and thought about what happened earlier. I think I was having a "kilig" moment. I kept on thinking on how he held my hand and how neat he was. He looked so clean and looks like a gentleman. I can also remember his smell, he smelled so nice. Few hours later I calmed myself and did my homework and also ate dinner. Before going to bed I suddenly remember again when Ben pulled me and he introduced himself. I can't believe that I just saw him at school earlier and I didn't imagine that the second time that I would be seeing him he would introduce his self and would save my life. After a few minutes I finally fell asleep.

        I woke up a little late because I had a good dream. I quickly get ready for school and run all the way to school. Thank goodness that I was in time. Since Chesa was my classmate and also seatmate she laughed at me because I looked so haggard. "Please don't tell me you're going to look like that later when I introduce you to my friend" Chesa said. "Its fine I'll just fix myself later at the restroom." I said before the teacher entered.

Few hours went but quickly it was now lunch. I immediately went to the restroom to fix myself. I brushed my hair, put a light makeup and fixed my clothes.  I now went outside to meet Chesa. I saw Chesa seating alone so I went to our table quickly. I saw that she has already bought us food. We were chatting for few minutes because her friend hasn't come yet. While chatting I saw Ben walking into the canteen with his fellow friends. I realize that he was walking towards us and I suddenly felt the butterflies again. I thought he was going to our table but he just passed by I guess. He did not even great me or looked and smiled at me.
  
      "Yah! Over here!" Chesa said while waving at someone behind me. I looked behind me and saw someone heading towards table. "Oh Chesa what's up? Oh, Hi Hiraya!" Chesa's friend said. I was so shocked and could not even say a word.

Who came towards Hiraya's table? Was it really Chesa's friend or a new character? Why was Hiraya so shocked when she saw the person?
