Memories flood through my mind. I was dressed in a long, red velvet dress, the thick black straps fell down to mid shoulder, I was wearing a black corset, and a pair of black high heels. My red curls were flowing down my back only one clip holding the front of my curls out of my face, only a few loose strands hung around my face.

I walked down a trail towards a rose garden. “Katarina!” someone called.

I turned around, red curls flying behind me. Someone was walking up to me. A boy barely 23.

He was red  haired, vivid blue eyes. He was wearing a suit. “Katarina!” he called in a accent like Valilis's. A light, charming British accent.

I waited for him to catch up before realizing who he was. “Elijah?”i asked.

He hugged me. I stood there, awkwardly. He backed away, his hands on my shoulders. “Katarina are you okay?” he asked. I smiled, and looked at him.

“Yes?” I said, looking at him. I looked at his eyes, without thinking I touched his face. Gasping, I pulled my hand away.

There was something dark and freighting in his soul. I looked at him. “What are you?” I backed away.

Elijah moved closer to me. “Same thing that you are. A vampire...”

I shook my head. “No. I'm not a vampire. Vampire's aren't real.” I said.

He laughed. “yes, they are. Watch.” he said as he closed his eyes and reopened them.

His eyes were completely black. Blue veins came from his eyes. He smiled. Sharp, dainty, canines were there instead of normal canines.

I fainted. Falling to the ground.
