When winter arrives and brings with it the cold snow that characterizes the season, it is easy to be overwhelmed by the sight, sounds, and smells that accompany it. The usual surrounding landscape is entirely transformed when snow falls. Where there was once pale, dead grass, there is now endless, rolling hills of crystal.
As more snow collects on the landscape, a certain hush falls over the world. The snow seems to mute the usual sounds that go hand in hand with the bustle of everyday life. As people hurry from place to place, their movements cause a quiet crunching and squeaking to arise as the snow is tamped down beneath their feet.
Had Jungkook been in his right mind, he would've started cursing the snow for disrupting people's every day routine but that day, he was everything but fine.
Oh how he hated the winter season with a passion, crystal tears rolling down his cheeks over and over again that resembled frozen pearls being dropped from the sky when the snowflakes get accompanied by hail, coating the landscape with what seemed like sheets and sheets of white salt.
Staring listlessly out of the window with a heavy heart, Jungkook's eyes follow the huge buildings and snow-capped trees which swish past as the vehicle advances forward, the road to his house somehow paved as he sits at the very backseat, chin in his palm with sparkly eyes, but this time they illuminated gloom and despondency.
With a heavy heart, Jungkook lets himself get dragged after the car gets parked in their porch, choking on numerous sobs as the grip on his wrist just tightens over time, the very spot that was now stinging so badly that it felt as if he was being skinned alive. A thousand needles being forcibly pricked into his chest.
"A mistake will remain a mistake forever!", Mrs. Jeon mutters lowly as she stomps her way into the humongous house, forcefully dragging the stumbling male from behind her and Mr. Jeon closely follows after ordering the chauffer to bring in the necessary bags and stuff.
"Didn't know you'd be such a big disappointment, Jungkook", she pulls on his wrist which causes the aforementioned to stumble forward onto the couch in the living room, and though his vision was blurred out and his insides were churning, he still manages to look around the so-called house of his, the very place he'd considered a living hell for himself.
The place where all his miseries took life to begin with.
"Don't be so full of yourself just because you left your home and was able to live off on Jin like a parasite! All you ever do is taint our family's name in this society, Jungkook. When will you ever learn?"
"I'm s-s-sorry-"
"Sorry won't do the job, Jungkook", Mr. Jeon interrupts as he towers over the younger, who was sobbing hard whilst trying to balance himself on the couch behind, feet slipping though there was a rug beneath him because of sheer exhaustion, "You've gravely wronged not just us but the Kims as well. Have you ever thought of informing his parents the least bit about enrolling him for those classes?"
