I gripped the railing before me as I watched the battle begin, fighting the urge to jump in and protect  my sister.  I couldn't help her, though, she had to do this all on her own.

She was larger than the Drake, so the size advantage was in her court.  The Drake, though, appeared to be heavier in weight and could overpower her if she wasn't her eyes on him.  It was also too dangerous for her to use any of her water abilities; the electricity that the Drake had as his Element could easily do some serious, even permanent, damage to her.  She would have to use her ice Element and normal combat to take him down.

I watched as the two circled around each other again before they jumped at one another once more.  Teeth and claws out in search of soft spots to dig in to.  The Drake let out a high pitched screech and limped backwards several steps.  Kuriga had managed to tear open a wound just under that Drake's right arm.

"There you go, come on," I said aloud to myself, smiling that the battle was now more in her favor.

I was so focused on watching my sister tat I didn't hear the footsteps approaching me from behind.  It wasn't until Tyjuco let out a roaring laugh that snapped me out of the battle mindset I was in.

"There you are, my dear.  I was starting to worry that the boys might had kidnapped you," he joked as Krima returned to his side with two young men right behind her.

My eyes glanced over to my Aunt and Uncle, then over to the men.  Who in the hell are these two? I though to myself as I started to study them.

The first male was tall, about six feet in height, with a light muscle build.  His eyes were two different colors, one being brown while the other was blue.  His hair was a dark brown with small curls just starting to form.  He wore a big goofy grin as he conversed with the other strange man and let loose a big laugh.

"Must have a good sense of humor," I mumbled to myself, my eyes wondering over to the other male.

He was shorter than the other man by a couple of inches for sure.  He had a similar muscle build, though, like his companion.  His eyes were a light shade of blue, almost like ice and a way, that went will with his dark, smoky gray hair.  He appeared to be a bit more serious looking, but when he laughed out loud, he reminded me of a child.

I couldn't help but smile a little to myself at the two of them and went back to watching my sister battle.

She was winning from what I could tell.  She got another soft spot on the Drake to bleed while baring a few deep scratches to her right side of her own.  The Drake looked more wore out than her; she had this in the bag for sure.

I noticed small, shiny spots littered around on the ground of the arena.  I smiled and let out a small laugh after I realized what Kuriga was doing; she was putting down patches of ice with each step she took.

"Clever girl..." I thought out loud.

The Drake went to lunge at er and slipped on one of the ice patches, hitting the ground with a hard thud.  Kuri saw her chance and encased his front and back legs in solid ice.  He struggled, trying to break himself free only to realize there was no way to escape.

"We have a winner!" Uncle shouted and clapped his large hands as a horn sounded, drawing this round to a close.

Kuriga lifted a front paw and the Drake was set free from the ice.  He left out a hiss and sulked back to the entrance he came out of.

"I told you I would be fine, sister," she said out loud instead of in my mind.

"Never said I doubted you, besides you gotta let me worry a little," I teased at her before remembering about her injured side.  "Go get fixed up before those gashes get infected."

"Alright, alright.  Just be careful in your battle, you hear me?" she said with worry in her voice.

I nodded at her and Krima came down t lead her to a Healer to get taken care of.

"By the way, who are those two guys?  What are they doing here?" my sister asked through mind-speak.

"No clue," I said to her, "ask Krima about it and let me know if you find out."

Tyjuco watched my sister and Aunt leave and walked over to me.  It was now my turn to prove myself to him that I'm able to to handle and control myself; that I was no monster like everyone else makes me out to be.

"Are you ready, Kyorgra?" he asked in a low voice.

"Let's do this," I replied to him.

"Time for our next match!  This one should be one for the books,"  he yelled out.

I jumped over the railing, transforming into a Dragon mid jump and landed with a thud.  I could feel the magic, power, and adrenaline flowing through me as I shook myself to loosen any stiff muscles I had.  You can do this I told myself as I took my stance, ready for the fight.

The gate on the other side slowly lifted up and a different Drake came walking out.  He was double the size of the one that Kuri faced, which was odd to me.  Drakes do not get this large.

Something was wrong, very wrong.  This was no normal Drake.  He was Tainted with very dark, old magic and I was the one to fight him.

This fight is against the rules and my Uncle knew it, but here I am.  I would have to kill it if t comes to that point.

The Drake and I began the dance of circling around each other, searching for weak spots and sizing one another up.

You got this I reminded myself as I breathed out the air I was holding in.

"Let the battle begin!"

I let out a roar and lunged forward with claws out and teeth bared, ready to fight.
