John Walker, you're an A~~hole

Chapter 1 ~ Finding a place to stay

"GET OUT!!" I scream at John. "Shush Liam is asleep," is all he says. I take a deep breath to calm myself down. "Get out John, get out now..." I'm on the edge of crying 'if you want to cry, wait until you're not with the person who causes that feeling.' That's what my older brother used to tell me. "This is my house, I'm not leaving," he says without any emotions at all. "Fine, but I'm taking Liam with me." I leave the room to find mine and Liam's suitcases. John doesn't say anything at all, I left him speechless, I can't help but smirk a little to myself.

When I had packed all of my stuff I woke up Liam and told him to pack what was necessary. "I'll pick up the rest within the next couple of days." John just simply nod.

"Mum, where are we going?" Liam asks when we get in the car, "We are going to see an old friend of mine." I smile softly at him, "Okayy... Why?" "I'll explain everything to-" Before I could even finish, Liam fell asleep.

After about half an hour to an hour, we arrive at the Avengers compound. I gently wake up Liam, we walk to the door and I knock. 

It takes only a few seconds before a tall blond guy opens the door. "Hi I'm Y/n, I'm looking for Wanda Maximoff, is she he-" Liam cuts me off, "You're Captain America??" He asks as his face lights up like a Christmas tree. "I am, and who are you, little fella?" He bends down to Liam. "I-I'm Liam." 

"Well, Liam, should we see if Wanda is here, so your..." He looks up at me, "Mom, I'm his mom." I smile at him. "So your mom can talk with her." Liam nods as the guy turns around and calls out for Wanda. 

"What's up cap?" Wanda says as she walks over to the door. "There's someone here to see you." He answers. "Y/n?" Wanda's lips start to form a little smile. "Hi, Wanda," I say softly. Wanda hugs me, "What's going on?" She gives me a worried look. 

"Liam, if it's okay with your mom, what do you say about the two of us introducing you to some of the other superheroes?" Captain America says and they both look at me for permission. "Go ahead, Liam." He hugs me tight, "Thank you, mom" I smile 'Thank you' I mouth at Captain America. "So who's your favorite superhero?" I hear him ask as they leave. 

"So that's Liam?" Wanda asks "He's grown so big, how old is he?" She continues. "He's turning 4 in about a month." 

"He is? So that means it's been almost 4 years since we last saw each other." Both of our smiles start to fade. "Yeah... I'm sorry Wanda, but it wasn't my-" She cuts me off, "No, I know, it was John's fault, and I am guessing he's the reason why you're here?" She says, "Yeah... it is." I look down. "How bad did it get?" 

"He wasn't even at my parent's funeral last year, he would barely let me help my brother plan it." A few tears start to run down my cheeks. "And now I just had enough," I say wiping off my tears. 

"Then why are you still wearing your engagement ring?" Wanda points at the ring on my hand. "I'm going to give it back, along with the keys to his house," I say, rolling my eyes at the word his. 

"If you need a place for you and Liam to stay, you can stay here, I just have to clear it with Steve and Tony first" Wands offers. "If it's not too much trouble, we would love to."

Wanda and I walk into the main area, to find Liam surrounded by all the superheroes. He has the biggest smile I have seen in a long time, it warms my heart. "Would you introduce me to your new friends, Liam?" I ask him, as I take a few steps closer. 

No POV but with Liam

"So who's your favorite superhero?" Captain America asks the little kid Liam, on their way to the main area. "Ironman and Captain America, they are the coolest!!" Liam answers, leading Steve to smile. "Well, then this is your lucky day, 'cause if you walk right into that room, I guarantee you Ironman is in there." He says, opening the door, 'till the main area. 

"Everone, this is Liam! Why don't you all introduce yourself to him." Steve says gesturing to Liam and all the superheroes in the room. 

Everyone introduces themself, and Liam has never been happier. While Liam talks to the other superheroes, Tony pulls Steve aside. "Who is he?" Tony asks looking almost just as confused as the time he found out that only ironman, and not Tony, was suited for the avengers initiative. "You'll get the long explanation later, but it's someone Wanda knows, and she's figuring it out right now," Steve says and they both walk back to Liam and the others, just as Y/n and Wanda walk in. "Would you introduce me to your new friends, Liam?" Y/n asks as she takes a few steps closer. 

Back to Y/n's POV

"Of course mom, this is Ironman." Liam says with a big smile, I walk over to shake hands "Hey, I'm Tony Stark." The handsome billionaire says. "I'm Y/n Y/l/n," I say with a smile, and turn to greet the others too, along with Liam introducing me. 

At the same time, Wanda talks with Tony about me and Liam staying for a few days. 

"So is it okay if they stay here a few days? Just until they figure everything out." Wanda says after she told Tony everything that's going on with John. 

"You can tell Y/n that they can stay here for as long as they want, years if they need," Tony says with a smile. 

"Thank you, Tony," Wanda says as she walks over to me, to tell the good news.
