Vol. 01 Ch. 12 - Kenshin and Kazee

—Kenshin's Perspective—

You decided to make your move, Milady huh? I'm so proud of you! You're now facing your own fear without the help of others.

Earlier ago, I was caught in the reaction of the vine when that girl jump towards the rear. Lucky for me, I had Eisenheim protected me again.

But in exchange I was thrown far away and when I came back, there's too much thing had happened. I don't know how to comprehend the situation in one shot. So I stay at the other flying carpet behind ours and decided to hide from her first and watch them, especially Kazee.

I don't know her past yet I chose her to be my favorite person. That's why I want to witness her own judgement. Back then, she's always hesitant in her actions. Just like the time when her secrets were revealed to Caiti and others

She wanted to do and say something however she overthink and worried about to what will happen next that's why she failed!

But now, I gave it on a test and the results exceeds the limit I set. It was her! The real Kazee! That's what I saw right now. When one's life is at stake, even though her resolve is slow. Yet she didn't hesitate to make her move.

"Oh no, Kazee is...!" I shouted

But now, the situation is going sideways. I've become reckless. I take off my Holy Relic immediately and send a huge amount of Mana to summon Eisenheim instantly

But it's useless! Damn! Why of all the time this has always to happen!?

TSS! I know it was my fault! If Kazee dies here, I won't forgive myself! If I'd act accordingly, this won't happen. I try harder and gave three folds of the Mana I sent earlier.

AW! Damn! Shit! It's drowned!

I didn't notice the forest dew got into the Holy Relic!

"The wine wasn't enough!!" The girl shouted while looking at the fat woman

"Brother, take this. It's my pleasure to have you this, as your friend, I wanted you to be safe" Eisenheim handed me his necklace

It was a round-bottom flask sealed by a cork and was full of mist and I can barely see the inside

"What's this thing?"

But if you focused your attention, you can notice the curvy, ash gray colored, single-edged dagger. It was made of purely tungsten metal, the pommel is glowing red with a huge amount of concentrated Mana inside that pommel, the hilt almost cover it. That dagger was enveloped in seawater and a blood is covering the whole blade. The blood wasn't dry or stagnant, it was flowing around, like it was still alive on its host.

"It's an ancient Divine Rapier created by Ken Yeuna during her time, Stella sealed it with Yeuna's blood because it can't be control by anyone. They called it Desolator"
