MOMENTS OF HAPPINESS ARE FLEETING IN A WORLD THAT IS TAINTED BY CURSES. As a jujutsu sorcerer, Ayase Hitomi knows this all too well. Happiness can disappear in the blink of an eye, and for someone who quite literally harbours the spirit of an ancient, almost god-like sorcerer in her soul, happiness is tough to come by. Moments of normalcy are hard to come by, especially when you're doing the same thing again and again. Seeing the same things again and again.
Exorcising a cursed spirit is routine. Seeing death is routine. But mundane little things like bickering with Gojo Satoru are also routine. And maybe, Hitomi thinks, a little moment of being normal can come from this.
But you see...stories taking place in this world can never truly be normal or happy. But Hitomi intends to change that. And with all the power in her heart and soul, she will do her best to succeed. Even if things are too hard, she will try.
That's her purpose.

I'm a simp for Gojo and that's just plain simple facts. I knew from the second I saw him, I would end up falling for him because he's just too damn handsome. Even though he is an annoying brat, I just can't help but love him. Of course, what better way to show that love then by writing a fic for him.
hitomi's cursed technique is strongly inspired by chuuya nakahara's ability in bungo stray dogs, but it has my own spin hehe.
This fic starts a little before the Hidden Inventory Arc (a.k.a Gojo's past arc) and continues through it before getting to JJK volume 0 and then to the main manga storyline. So fair warning, this will have HEAVY MANGA SPOILERS; be careful when you read it. And of course, like the manga, it will be very emotional and angsty, but there will also be a lot of fluff and great banter.
