I am a girl from Iceland and this is my life. It all started when I was born. I was born under water. My mother is a mermaid just like me. My father is dead, but he was human. Let's go back in time. My mother met my father at the beach. They fell in love at first sight. Until my father found out that my mother is a mermaid. My father was angry because he did not believe in mermaids. My mother intoxicated my father with her beautiful song. One night my father was found dead in his apartment. Suicide was suspected at first, but police found out it was my mother. When I was born my mother rejected me. A dolphin saved me. It took me to the surface. Without that dolphin, I wouldn't be alive. When I’m on earth then I have legs, but when I’m underwater then I have a tail. My deputy mother took care of me. When I was 7 years old, I said goodbye to my surrogate mother and went to sea. I lived in the ocean for 6 years. When I was 13 I got a message from my mom. It read: Come to Mexico. See you there. I left for Mexico and met my mother there. I asked why she rejected me. He replied: I had to leave because it was dangerous for a mermaid in Iceland.
