We had just reached the exit when he turned and said, "I know the perfect place we can go. It's quite and it has a nice view of the water surrounding the castle."

When I nodded he turned quickly and started to walk, as he got to the grass he started to walk faster as if he were trying to get away. "Hey! Whats got you so antsy?" I said as I laughed.

"Am I walking fast," he replied," I've been a thief all my life, so I'm quick on my feet. Im sorry I'll slow down." He stopped walking and waited for me to catch up to him then began to walk beside me. "So... Why'd you invite me out here?"

"Uh I don't know... You invited me to your ball without even knowing me. So I thought it best to change that." I smiled," Besides I'm tired of hanging out with Eric. All he talks about is how Ariel's... hoo-ha always smells... um... fishy... wow I'm sorry I should not have brought that up. I'm so sorry." All the color from my cheeks vanished when he stopped abruptly. I'd blown my chance of becoming friends with him, but before I could say anything he keeled over in laughter. He fell to the ground and started to laugh at that too. I was about to walk away when the laughter finally subsided.

"He really talks about that stuff? That is hilarious! And also quite disgusting, but hilarious none the less!" I reached for his hand and he accepted. As I was pulling him up I lost my footing and fell next to him facing the clear blue sky. "You should see this place during the Lantern Festival. Absolutely beautiful." We laid there for a long time, saying nothing, only enjoying each others company. There was a certain aura to him that radiated calm. Everything about him only made me more attracted to him. Why am I having these thoughts? I'm one hundred percent straight. There's no possible way I could have feelings for a guy. Right?

I cleared my throat and started to stand," Where's the place you wanted to show me?" When I said that he opened his eyes and quickly got to his feet.

"Oh yeah. It's right this way. Hey?"

"Yeah?"

"Catch me if you can!" He started to sprint to nowhere in particular. His request caught me off guard, but when it finally processed I made a run for him. I loved to run, and I ran almost everyday. But even in the shape I was in he was much faster. We ran almost all the way around the castle when he finally slowed to a stop. I wasn't able to stop as quick and slammed into him sending us both to the ground. I landed on top of him, my stomach on his.

"We have got to stop running into each other like this," he said while laughing'" I'm going to break my shoulder the next time this happens." He started to laugh but quickly stopped when he noticed me staring deep into his chocolatey brown eyes. The urge to kiss him was so strong that I almost craned my neck and connected his pink, full lips to my thin, light brown ones, but I never got the chance because he cleared his throat and murmured,"I need to show you the uh... thing... that I need to show you."

"Oh... yeah of course," I stood and reached for his hand making sure I was firmly planted on the ground this time. I lifted him to his feet and we began to walk. Ten minutes later, after having walked in silence, we ended up at a plain white gazebo that couldn't have been older than 5 years. When I stepped on to the gazebo I noticed how close it was the the beautiful blue water.

"It's beautiful. Truly beautiful." I said taking in every detail. The way the sun sparkled on the water. The birds flying overhead, chirping a beautiful song. I want to remember everything... I want to remember the way he moves. The way he smiles. The way he tenses whenever we make eye contact.

I want to remember everything.
