My Parents Are Youtubers? (ON HOLD)

Chapter One: My Crazy Family

Hey guys! Here is the first chapter of the sequel of STUSOTL! I hope you all like it!! :) Enjoy!

"Ian! Don't do that!" My dad yelled at me as I was messing with his camera.

"I'm bored!" I whined. I knew I was being immature, but I didn't care. 

For those of you who don't know, my name is Ian Hecox. No. Not from Smosh. That's my dad. My mom, Bethany had me when she was 20 and I am currently 16. (That means she is 36. Pretty old.) My dad was 27 when I was born and is now 43. (WOW! Talk about OLD!) And yes, he is still making videos with my Uncle Anthony. 

Well, he isn't really my uncle. But my dad and him have been best friends since they were young. They got married on the same day with their girlfriends. 

I am the oldest out of my siblings. Even out of my 'cousins'. My little brother, Kellin, is 10 and my little sister, Emmi, is 6. 

Uncle Anthony's and Aunt Kammy's twin daughters, Kiari and Quinn, are 14. Their son, Link, is 9 and their other son, Josh, is 7.

"That doesn't mean you should play with the camera! You might break it!" My mom exclaimed towards me. I rolled my eyes and set the camera down and started walking to my room. 

"Hey Ian! You wanna play unicorns wiff me?" Emmi asked me as she shoved a stuffed unicorn in my face. 

"Not right now, Em. Maybe later," I replied and mussed her brown hair. I went into my room and closed the door behind me. I had a huge Smosh poster on my wall that I always saw when I went into my room. To the right was my bed and to the left was where my computer was. I sat at my desk and pulled out my iPhone to text Kiari.

'Hey. Whatchya doing?' I asked.

While I waited for her to reply, I browsed through Youtube. 

Buzz!

'Nothing. Wbu?' 

'Just watching some PewDiePie videos. Wanna come over?' 

Kiari and I have been close ever since we were younger. We used to always pretend to make videos just like our parents. 

Our parents are Youtubers. How crazy is that?

'Can't. Dad has me editing some footage from today.'

Her family does daily vlogs. Kind of how the Shaytards did. She said she didn't really mind being filmed every day. 

'Bummer. Can I come over then?' I asked. 

'Yeah. My mom doesn't care."

I put away my phone and went to grab my hoodie and beanie. I looked in the mirror that was hanging on my wall and checked that I looked okay. My dirty blonde hair was cut like one of my favorite youtubers, Damon Fizzy, and I put on my beanie. I had blue eyes which I got from both my parents. I was pretty slim since I played soccer. 

I put on my black Vans and went to leave the house. 

"Where are you going?" My mom asked me as I passed her in the living room. 

"Going over to Uncle Anthony's. I'll be home in a couple of hours."

With that said, I left to go next door. (Yes, next door). When I got to the front porch, the door immediately opened. 

"Ian! It's good to see you!" My Aunt Kammy said as she came and gave me a huge hug. She always was so compassionate. I swear, that woman will hug you for forever if she got the chance. She finally let go of me after a few minutes. 

I went inside their house and had to go through the living room to get to the computer room. That was where everyone was. 

"That's my toy! Dad! Tell him to give it back!" Link hollered as Josh ran away with a toy car. Quinn was sitting on the couch, scrolling through her phone while she chewed gum. She had the same features as Kiari, but their personalities were way different. They both had brown hair and their faces looked almost exactly the same. But Quinn has brown eyes while Kiari has hazel eyes. 

Quinn is more of a preppy girl and Kiari is more of a...well, she is like one of those quiet people who likes the 'scene' kind of style. You know what I mean? She also wears glasses. She got that from her mom.

"Hey Ian!" Uncle Anthony greeted me with a big hug. What is with these people and hugging!? It's not like they've never seen me before! I smiled and nodded and dashed to the computer room. I closed the door behind me. 

"Your folks sure do love hugging," I commented. Kiari laughed as she turned around in her chair. 

"Yup," She said and looked at me innocently. Before I knew it I was being hugged and couldn't breathe. 

She let go of me and went back to editing the video. For the rest of the time we just talked about what was going on in our lives. Complaining about younger siblings and stuff like that. 

"So. How is your girlfriend?" Kiari asked me out of the blue. I shrugged. I actually haven't talked to Maddie since a couple of days ago. She isn't one for getting mad over that but I always seem to find a way to talk to her every day. 

She decided not to push the subject and started rambling on about this crush she had but she wouldn't tell me the name of who it was. She kept acting shy about it and wouldn't make eye contact with me. 

"Why don't we make a video?" I asked. We had our own youtube account called TheKianShow. Yup, it's a cool name. We usually do some skits or just talk about random things. We have a lot of subscribers since our parents just HAD to tell their subscribers about us. 

But it's a cool experience. 

And we hope to make videos forever just like our parents. 

We were in the middle of doing a comedy skit about some cookies when Kiari's dad came in. 

"Hey guys! Wha--Oh oops!" He said once he saw we were filming, "Sorry! I'll just leave now!" 

Kiari face palmed herself. "My dad is so crazy sometimes. And my mom isn't any better either." She sighed. I just laughed at it all. Our families are pretty insane. 

You would never expect your parents to be Youtubers. Or to even become one yourself.

And yes, this story is going to be in Ian (Jr?)'s POV! Lol I got tired of switching POVS the whole time in my other story. Hopefully it's okay just by one point of view.
