Chains Of Time

"Were you talking to someone?"

Surf ofcourse fell asleep with visions, like he always did since his sisters gift. Surf never took it off because he was forgetful and didnt want to lose it. He found himself wondering if the Chains had something to do with his strange vision-ish-dreams.

Surf drifted into his vision expecting to go to the palace but he didn't? 'Where am I?' He wondered. Surf was brought to a cave, surrounded by other dragons he didn't recognize. 'I thought it was only passed memories I went to..' he thought while looking around. The cave was dimly lit due to the fire in the middle, and a food pile in the corner, but it looks like fresh kill.

Surf tried to poke the dragon closest to him, but his talon passed right through. "I guess I'm not really here.." he muttered to himself. Surf got up to try and look around to see where he was. When he walked out of the cave, he got hit with the sound of rushing water. And when he turned the corner he saw why, there was a waterfall infront of the cave exit or entrance. 'So its hidden' he thought turning around to go back to the cave.

"Why am I even here?" Surf was curious because of two reasons, one, his dreams were about his past memories and Surf had never been here, and two, why was he here with all these other dragons? Surf was so lost in thought that he barely even notice someone was trying to wake him.

Surf woke up with a start to Emu poking him with the end of her tail. "Hey, be careful! I personally don't want to get poisoned!" Surf yelped realizing what she was doing. Emu shoved her at him, not enough to stab him, but enough to get his reflexes to jump away, which he did.

"Now your awake!" Emu laughed, moving her tail back away from him. "You were muttering in your sleep so I woke you up!" She said looking genuinely proud of herself, while Surf just wanted to hit her on the head with his tail.

Surf looked around Emu, and at the cave around them, suddenly remembering where he was and what happened. "Wait.." he asked "Wheres Navi?" He asked Emu

"I don't know." Emu responded with a shrug. "When I woke up she was leaving out that way." Emu pointed with her tail at an opening in the cave wall that led to a dimly lit hallway. "I was to tired to ask where she was going. Plus she left to fast." Emu sighed. "Now I'm just waiting for her to come back cause you woke up"

"You mean you woke me up?" Surf grumbled looking at her than her tail barb, than back. The sandwing snorted about to retaliate with something back, but just than Surf heard voices in the hallway. Clearly Emu did too because she jumped up and walked over to the entrance to poke her head around the corner to see who was there. Before she got to see anything, she collided with Navi, who was walking in. Surf looked at Navi with a look of pure confusion and curiosity. "Were you talking to someone?" He finally asked her.
