In this chapter, we meet Kim's rebelious dark side. Enjoy...

Kim's POV:

I was very cranky since the Skittles made me tired and my dad was being a jerk by not letting me date Dib. That's when I knew I had enough... I texted Dib without my dad noticing and told him to come over here. It only took him a few seconds to get here because he ended up staring at the sky instead of leaving. I let him in and grabbed his hand infront of my dad.

"Fine... If you don't let me date Dib, I'm gonna run away... But then... I'm gonna come back... But not alone... Oh I'm gonna come back with a smeet and I'm gonna leave you to take care of him all by yourself..."

Dib looked at me nervously. I gave him a look that told him I was just kidding. He sighed, relived. I tried not to laugh at the thought of Dib taking care of a smeet. Then I looked my dad in the eye.

"Now is that what you want to happen?"

I raised my voice at my dad. He looked at me, shocked about what I said. I was kind of shocked myself. Then he glared at Dib.

"Fine... You can date him... But he must prove himself..."

I looked at Dib. He was smiling cheerfully. This wasn't going to be hard. Dib and I walked away.

"I thought you were tired."

"I am..."

"Then why didn't you stay home and get some rest?"

"I just made a dramatic exit to prove my point and you expect me to go back?"

"Oh..."

"I have somewhere to stay but I need you to come with me..."

"Uh... Sure... Why?"

"Oh... Um... No reason..."

He didn't ask anymore. I didn't want him to know the real reason I needed him there, because he'd probably laugh. We kept walking and our surroundings kept getting less and less modernized. We got to a point where the dirt trail disapeared and we were in the middle of a forest. That's when we got to an small house made of wood. It was tied together by vines. The roof was made of leaves and cardboard. The house was sourounded by a circle of rocks. It was just like I left it... Dib was about to cross the line where the rocks were.

"WAIT!!!"

Dib stopped and fell backwards. I helped him up.

"You almost stepped on the wire."

I pointed at a thin string. He followed it and saw that, if stepped on, it would cause and avalanche of rocks to fall on him. He went over the wire and I went infront of him. I opened the door and we went in. I closed the door. Inside, there was a crate. I opened it and grabbed a blanket. I told Dib to lay down with me. We shared the blanket.

"So... Why did you need me to come with you?"

"Uh... Like I said... No reason..."

I looked around nervously. Then I heard a noise and jumped. Dib looked at me and smiled.

"You wanted me to come because you were scared..."

"Me... Scared? Y-yea right..."

"Then I could just leave and you wouldn't care..."

Dib stood up. I grabbed his arm.

"Yes... I'm scared... Please don't go!"

Dib laughed and came back. We sat against the wall. I leaned on Dib's shoulder. Dib started singing softly a song that seemed very familiar. Then I realized it was the song that my cellphone played when Dib was calling me.

"When I see your face...

There's not a thing that I would change...

Cuz you're amazing...

Just the way you are...

And when you smile...

The whole world stops and stares for a while...

Cuz girl you're amazing...

Just the way you are..."

I never knew Dib could sing. I looked at him to see if it was really him singing. It was! Not even I sang that good! Before I could think about it any longer, I fell asleep.
