Isn't it funny how you think you know someone? But that perfect exterior can only show so much that eventually you know society has put people in a position were they are messed up mentally.

Nearly two weeks ago I moved to Omaha, Nebraska. It's no surprise I'm always moving; different school, different neighborhoods. I've seen it all and experienced it all. With the big amounts of job offers my father has received, his boss has made us move pretty much everywhere around the whole damn country, but I guess it is what it is.

Over the years, I've realized that I'm not the same little kid filled with pure joy. That little kid seemed to disappear. I've grown quiet and secretive, maybe I've grown to fear happiness in a way. I fear having those fears become a reality because happiness will not always be the good people seem to see in it, it can also come crashing down like waves in an ocean.

After two never ending long weeks, tomorrow was the day, the day that I would enter that gates of hell. The new school that I would be attending, Central high school. I kept thinking about the types of kids that would be in that new school, but my thoughts were interrupted by an unfamiliar phone call. I decided to ignore the call and lay down, the sun would set soon and the day was about to be over. I layed down on my bed looking up at the ceiling, I was soon reminded of my past and the worst effects of my life. As the breeze got cooler and the sky got darker I thought about the positives and negatives and as soon as I shut my eyes, I was out like a light.

*Next Morning*
I woke up next morning with my eyes nearly shut. I sat up on my bed as the bright lighting of the sun beamed into my heavy eyes. "Noah!" My father shouted, "I'll be right down!" I jumped up and out of my bed, I walked over to my closet were I picked out my black and white baseball t-shirt that had the number 03 on the back with my last name over it, I slipped on my ebony, black jeans, my black and white varsity jacket, and my white vans as well.

I walked into the bathroom and threw water in my face, causing me to instantly shiver because of the cold water. I quickly rushed down stairs and looked over to my dad, "hey are we leaving yet?" I questioned my dad, "yea just give me a second" he replied with a worried look on his face. I decided to drop my backpack and flop down on the couch, I knew something was wrong but I couldn't quite wrap my finger around it.

"Come on Noah, we have to go" my dad hopped up with a smile on his face shuffling to the door, "um dad? What's wrong with you, you're pretty jumpy" "what your old man can't be happy without being criticized?" He laughed.

Thinking about my new school had me very worried, I had this weird pain in my stomach that has seemed to get stronger at every step I took. I walked across the living room and made my way out of the door. "Noah lock the door please would you?" "Yea sure" I answered, as my dad vigorously slammed the car door. I jogged across the porch and got inside the car. "Are you ready?" My dad asked "yea dad I'll be fine." My father started driving as it started raining, I gazed out of my window and started staring at the raindrops that dripped down.

In just a matter of seconds I realized that my dad was driving into the school parking lot, "okay you have to go to the office so they can give you your schedule." My dad stated "are you coming with me?" I asked, but I got no answer, so I guess I knew my answer.

I was walking through the hallway while I rushed my hand through my hair because of the rain. I noticed many people glancing at me, and as I was about to make my way into the office, a girl with the brightest big brown eyes bumped into me. "I'm so sorry I didn't even notice you wal-" I interrupted her "it's okay" I laughed, I leaned to the side so that she can walk through and suddenly I heard my name for across the hall.

"Noah!" I looked straight down noticing a long haired, blue eyed boy walking my way. "Connor?" I asked as the mysterious girl looked at both of us full of curiosity. "Oh my god" the boy said while putting his hands on his head, his eyes got so red in just a matter of seconds, and as I started to remember who this unknown boy was my eyes started to fill up with tears like a little puddle of rain, "I th-I thought you..." I managed to say "I can't believe this" the boy said pulling me into a hug.

"Am I missing something here?" The girl asked, "Alannah this is Noah a really old but new friend of mine." Connor managed to say, I looked up at the ceiling an looked back down, I was shaking uncontrollably and Alannah held my hand, "I know your knew here, but once you get to know people, it's not all bad." I smiled at Alannah as she walked away.

So many memories had crossed my mind, but I mainly had a few in mind, I can't believe I finally met him, the boy I called family, the boy that saved my life, my savior. After so many grieving years of texts and phone calls, I finally met my un-biological brother.
