*Noah's P.O.V*
Every moment that I lifted my head, I caught a glimpse of Savannah looking at me.

I over heard her talking about a boy named Donavan and how they were a thing, but maybe she's over him.

I wasn't sure if I actually liked this girl, I had just met her. "Hey" Savannah said softly, "hey."

"Can I sit here?" My heart immediately jumped out of my chest noticing the shy look on her face, "Of course" I smiled. It seems that every time Savannah smiles, I feel safe and comforted, just by that one smile.

"Hey" a green eyed boy said from in front of Savannah. "hi Donavan, uh Noah this is Donavan, Donavan.. Noah." Savannah introduced us. She didn't seem happy every time she would look up at Donavan. I didn't want to get in anyone's business but Savannah's beautiful smile would slowly fade at every moment that she found herself looking into his eyes.

My wondrous thoughts where interrupted by a heavy arm on my back. "So what do you say buddy?" Donavan leaned on me, I looked up and moved my chair forward causing Donavan to lean in closer to my back, "Noah wouldn't know anyone and he might not enjoy the party.... right Noah?" Savannah said while I looked at her with a lost face, "yeah, plus I'm not really a party type of person" I said in a low tone.

"What about you Sav?" Donavan asked Savannah, as I looked into the text book playing with my pen, "I'm actually going to the mall with Alannah, Raven, and Miranda. So I wouldn't be able to go." I looked over to Savannah and once again she smiled at me.

I knew that I wasn't going to the mall, but I didn't want to go to the party, I wanted to know more about Noah but he never opened up to me, all he did was keep the conversation very low.

"I'll see you later cutie" I heard Donavan's words echo as he walked away to his desk. I felt so disgusted with myself as I remembered our relationship. "Whats wrong" Noah asked me, finally starting a conversation "what do you mean?" I asked as I shifted my body to Noah's direction and he did the same. "I mean.. Every moment that you looked at Donavan, it was like if you were holding your entire happiness back, you didn't smile the way you smile at your friends. whats wrong?" I blinked slowly and smirked "its really hard to explain, plus we're almost leaving" I wondered how he noticed so much but barley knew me. I took Noah's pen and wrote my number on his wrist with my name under it, "I'll tell you after school yeah?" I said and smiled "yea" he answered as we both got up once we heard the bell.

*Noah's P.O.V*
I walked out of class with Savannah right next to me, I looked straight down the hallway noticing Connor waiting for me at the men's restroom. I walked toward him as he pulled me by my jacket, "are you going insane lad?" He whispered with attitude "well hi to you to bestfriend, and I'll have you kno-" "what are you doing talking to Savannah?" Connor asked while slowly loosing his grip off my jacket "well she seems to be the only person talking to me because I have a couple of classes with her and I thought she was pretty cool" I said as me and Connor rushed through the double doors, "look mate, Savannah is a very beautiful girl, but she dated Donavan Hampton and he is a very messed up lad" Connor stated and warning me.

"I'll drive you home mate" Connor suggested "its alright I'll walk." I started walking because I realized that Connor really wasn't backing me up. I kept thinking about what Connor told me until I felt a sudden push causing me to hit my head against the wall. "Listen new kid, either you leave Savannah alone, or your gonna have to deal with me" Donavan spat "get off of him asshole!" I heard someone scream, "Miranda you have no part in this" Donavan said "well Savannah is my bestfriend and he can do one thing you never did so get off of him!" I wondered what "one thing you never did" meant, I started becoming very curious about their relationship. "Go I'm fine don't get hurt, and don't tell Savannah" I said while looking at Miranda's worried eyes, "I'll be fine" I repeated.

When Miranda started walking away, I knew that she would go tell Savannah but I just hoped she didn't. I felt Donavan's left hand bash against my mouth leading a huge shower of blood down my face, another right hand to my nose causing even more blood, then I suddenly stopped breathing when I realized that Donavan kneed me in my stomach. One more punch to my eye and everything became a dark blur.

I felt nothing but panting and pain in my ribs and face. All I saw was a pitch black scene in my head that flashed the moments of Donavan hurting me. I just laid there in a puddle of blood and rain with my eyes closed and my face swollen, I soon gained the strength to open one eye and soon opened it to see Miranda pulling me into her car and repeating "its gonna be okay Noah" but why didn't she leave me? why did she care so much?

*Miranda's P.O.V*
"You'll be okay I promise" I kept repeating, noticing more and more blood dripping down his face. All I could think was how devastated Savannah would be, and how much of an asshole Donavan was. I was soon passing the speed limit when I arrived at a very busy hospital with Noah quietly groaning.

I quickly got off of my car and sprinted inside while dragging a wheel chair behind me. "Help!" I yelled consecutively, until two nurses ran back to the car with me. We carefully sat Noah on the wheel chair. I kept overthinking about how he felt, all this pain that he felt on his first day at a new school, the poor boy was frightened enough and Donavan made it worse, I soon began to cry as I put myself in Noah's position. "I'm so sorry Noah" I repeated with tears coming down my face.
