Error had finished his little task given by Nightmare, the glitchy skeleton sighing heavily. He was exhausted and wanted nothing more than to sleep. Luckily, Nightmare wasn't in the mood to give another order when he was struggling to shut his group up. The rough housing had got worse and damage had been done to the home Nightmare treasured. To put it lightly, the trio who caused the disaster would struggle to move for some time. In the end, it was never Error's concern.

"You headed out Error?" Cross peaked around the corner, catching Error's gaze as the other nodded.

"₦ɆɆĐ ₴ⱠɆɆ₱ ₳₦Đ ł ₩Ø₦'₮ ₲Ɇ₮ ł₮ ⱧɆⱤɆ. ₴ɆɆ ɎØɄ." Cross nodded, slipping away once more before Error opened a portal. He slipped through, making a new destination for a bit. He needed fresh air; Well, as fresh as any place gave. In the end, he stepped out in Outertale, the only Au Error cherished. He hated Aus, but the calming silence of the area was welcomed. Taking a spot on the edge of the rock overlooking nothing, he laid on his back, basking in the quiet. It let him think and focus on something other than a mission or order.

His mind lingered on Nightmare for a bit, simply recollecting information he'd learned. The leader was arrogant at times, no doubt hard to befriend. Just as Error was using Nightmare, the other was doing the same. They simply worked together for the same goal. Or at least similar goal. Of everyone in that mansion, Nightmare and Cross were the easiest to handle. The only downside to Cross was his old connection to Ink.

That name alone made his own mind linger there, old conversation from days ago reappearing. To put it bluntly, Error quickly tossed that memory away. It was not needed nor did he ever see the Squid of a protector as anything more than his enemy. They could never be friends. Not with their clashing goals and opposite views. Ink adored Aus. Error hated them. Everything Ink thought or did for something Au based, Error did the opposite. They were simply made to oppose the other, to create a balance. Though, only one of the two realized that truth.

Once the thought of Ink had left, Error found himself void of focus. At least for a moment. His own mind wandered, pulling back the original from the previous encounter. In all Error's life, he'd never expected to meet them. While he valued them, he never dared getting close. Could never risk a peak at the original coding. If he was noticed, it would only bring chaos. Even so, it did make Error slightly relieved when the other spoke to him without concern or hatred. Being a destroyer meant one single thing; you were not liked for a moment. Some could try to befriend, but it was fake. Error knew that well. When one is created to destroy, it creates a gap between the main body and others. It forged Error to rely on separation and to accept being alone. The previous conversation with Classic was a change. If he had to place it in a word he'd say it was;

Comforting.

Widening his sockets, he brushed the thoughts away before sitting up. His mood was in too many places and the idea of Classic being comforting left him oddly uncomfortable. He wasn't supposed to feel anything of that sort. But it was true Error felt relaxed toward the end of the conversation. He also had held a minor hope to speak again, but it was impossible. The original was returned to his world and things moved on. Days had passed and nothing changed. It only allowed Error to grasp it was a one time thing. He wasn't supposed to have anything good. That was his thought and choice.

Even so, he couldn't hide the fact that he'd been different since he'd met Classic. The original was weird, to put it nicely. They spoke and made someone so shut off, open up to them. To feel slight remorse. Error wasn't one for remorse, but the things Classic said hit him. It drew an emotion somewhere inside the glitchy skeleton that he never knew existed from the beginning.

Rubbing his skull, he groaned. His thoughts were everywhere and it only made him tired. He knew a permanent truth. He'd never see Classic again. So long as he never opened a way, the two would remain disconnected. It was the safest option, in the end. After all, Error was a bad omen. Anyone would agree. He brought nothing good, only the bitter end.

Climbing from the ground, he stretched his joints before opening his portal once more. His feet slipped in before he stopped, noticing a smaller pebble floating past slowly. It's colors were a light blue, with a touch of off white. It was in Error's opinion, pretty. The stones color also reminded the glitchy skeleton of Classic, but he drove that thought away. If he was to forget about the original, he couldn't let him enter his mind. Not anymore.

Pocketing the stone, he slipped through before sealing it. His body wandered toward the beanbag, gaze remaining on the stone as he pulled it from his pocket. A short smile brushed his features as he fell into the comfort of the bag. He sighed lightly, closing his sockets as he welcomed sleep.

"That's a pretty stone ya got there, Error."
