(Aria POV)
"Welcome Aria. Sit down," the headmistress said while looking at me with her steel gray eyes. She had a warm smile on and her eyes also looked friendly? happy? idk.
"You applied for the full scholarship. Am I right?"
"Yes Ma'am."
"You have got a 100%. That is the first time it has ever happened. I am quite impressed that a 15 year old-"
"I am 14 Ma'am."
"Wow, a 14 year old could do this. So you will be going into 9th grade. The first year of high school, I presume. You will be put with a helper, say a study friend, who will also be your roommate. "
"OK Ma'am."
"Please call me Miss Everett. Makes me less, cocky."
I cracked a smile and looked at her palms.
"Ok Aria, your ID, books, schedule, whatnot will be with Miss Keane. I will inform your study buddy and you will be on your merry way. Thank you and I hope you will flourish in our school!"
"Thank you Ma'am, I mean, Miss Everett."
As I walked out the door I felt hope. I am starting my life over as Aria Luna Kiara Thomas, a badass girl. Ok I would be meeting my roomie soon. Be cool. I hope she wasn't a rich, spoiled brat. I need friends to fit in. I thought as I accidently bumped into a gorgeous girl.
"Be more careful." she said.
"Oh I am so sorry." I replied helping her pick up her things. The newest iPhone? Gucci shades? Chanel crossbody? Is this normal here?
"You must be Aria! I'm Vera, your new roomie."
"Oh hello." I said and followed her into our new dorm. "Wow," i whispered taking the whole bigness of the room on me. "I think I'm going to like it here.
