Siena's Story.

Hi. I'm Siena. I was born in South Carolina. Ever since birth it's been hard for me. When I was born, my heart stopped beating, but they did some kind of procedure and here I am, alive and somewhat healthy.

My childhood was filled with my parents yelling at each other all the time. It soon got really bad, and my mom shot my dad. No one ever knew about it because we lived in the woods. Since then, my mother has been drinking and abusing me. I was too scared to ever tell anyone, so I just lock myself in my room most of the time.

School wasn't any better. Everyone picked on me for not having a dad. Just recently, people started hitting and kicking me. I don't have any friends, and I try to keep my grades up, if I don't, my mom will slap me or punch me, so I try to get all As.

I usually get out of school early, and from there I will go to the only place where people won't judge or abuse me. My hideaway. It's an abandoned cave in the middle of the woods. There is a flower field beside the cave. I will sometimes just go out there and sit in peace. I play violin, so I will go into the cave and practice. It's the only way I can practice. I love the violin. It's how I express myself. I also love dance. I wish I could dance at a dance school.

Two more things to say, first off, I have anxiety. Like really bad. Second, I've never had a boyfriend. And to be honest, I don't think love exists. My parents have made that pretty clear.

Maybe one day, I will find someone. But maybe one day, I will decide that life would be better without me.
