I finally finished my room. Roger already bought me a new bed before I even arrived here.
I like Roger. But, he's spending a little to much on us. I'll admit I love the stuff, but... It's a lot of stuff.
I opened the MacBook Roger gave me and Skyped Parker. He was tired. It was later there then here.
"Hi." I said softly.
"Hi beautiful." He said admiring me.
"Oh stop it." I joked.
We Skyped for probably 2 hours before he fell asleep. I was pretty tired as well.
*next morning*
I smelt something unfamiliar. But, it smelt delicious. I went down stairs and saw a women cooking.
"Maggie! You're awake." Roger said happy.
"Yeah, where's my mother?" I questioned.
"She's picking up a few things she should be here any minute. This is, Delia. She's our home cook." Roger said smiling biting something.
"Hi." I said waving to Delia. Delia had long blonde hair, and bright green eyes. She looked about 40.
"Hello Mrs. Ross." She said with an Australian accent.
I smiled. She seemed nice. I've never had a home cook. Well I actually have. My mom.
I walked over to the neat dining room table. It was glass. Real fancy.
"So, Roger... Do you have any children?" I asked him taking a sip of the glass of coffee in front of me.
"I did. But, sadly he died at birth." He said clearing his throat.
"I'm so sorry." I said.
I instantly regretted asking that.
A minute passed by of awkwardness. The only noise was Delia humming while cleaning the counters.
I heard the padlock began to move. I stood up and waited to greet my mother.
She walked in wearing her sun glasses.
"Hi mom." I said looking into the bag of groceries.
"Maggie, can you please give this to the boys across the street?" My mother said with a tired voice. I nodded and grabbed a bag. Whatever was in it.
I went outside and walked over there. I felt so many emotions. I was nervous they'd laugh at me. I was just oddly nervous.
I made it to their front door.
I knocked three times and waited for an answer.
Finally a tall blue eyed boy opened the door and smiled.
"Hi, my mom wanted me to bring the bag over?" I said confused.
The boy was just wearing grey sweats. His chest was bare.
I found him really attractive. Parker... I can't be thinking about boys that way.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Honestly I have no clue." I giggled.
He grabbed it and opened it.
"Oh, just a few snacks. Tell her thanks. I'm Nash by the way." He smiled shaking my hand.
"I'm Maggie." I smiled back.
"Would you like to come in? I can introduce you to all the other guys." He said gesturing for me to enter.
"Sure. Why not?" I laughed. I walked in. I felt stupid for entering a shirtless mans house. But, Roger knew him. I'm sure it's safe.
I saw a couple of guys crowded in a big room. Some were on their phones, most were eating.
"Hey. Guy's this is Maggie. She's Mr. Tyler's daughter in law." Nash said.
I waved and grinned.
"I'm Matthew, but people usually call me Matt." A blonde boy said waving back.
"I'm Carter." A brown haired boy with a black snapback said.
"I'm Taylor, we met yesterday." A tall boy with a red bandana said.
*the rest of boys introduced themselves but I don't want to say all bc that'd take forever*
I smiled at all the boys. They seemed nice. But, it was strange. They were all good looking. Especially Nash.
"So, you all live here together?" I asked. There was a lot of boys in one house. I'd expect it to be way messier.
"No, well yeah. Hayes leaves. He's only 14." Nash said.
14?! I would have guessed 16 or maybe even 17.
"So. Where'd you move from?" Carter asked.
"Florida." I smiled.
"Really? I really want to go there." A girl said from behind me. I turned around and saw a red headed girl. She had very curly hair. She was really pretty.
"I'm Mahogany." She smiled. I shook her hand.
"I'm surprised she doesn't know who we are." Matt said.
"Huh?" I said. What are they famous?
"Nothing." Matt giggled.
What?
"Oh... Anyways, I should be getting home." I said softly. The nodded of approval.
I went home with a permanent smile. They all seem really nice.
