𝑤𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟, 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒅𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕

ೃ•୭ 003. Commando App

It had been a week since the bionic trio been to high school and today was finally the day they'd join Leo and Katarina and start their first day as normal teenagers.

The group were all down in the lab, standing around the cyber desk as Mr. Davenport checked the tablet he had with him and looking over his notes, before finally speaking.

"Okay guys, you have been trained for all kinds of missions, but you are about to enter a soul-bruising, confidence-crushing, apocalyptic environment... high school." He cringed at the memories causing the three bionics to look at the two best friends in worry. Leo pressed his lips together with a nod of his head while Katarina shrugged her shoulders.

Partially she had no problem with high school. She had decent grades ( except for anything involving math, she was terrible at it ) and wasn't as picked on as much compared to Leo. Solely because of her looks which lead her to becoming a cheerleader. Though she does get some hushed comments behind her back which she simply brushes off as much as she can.

"Adam, Bree, your glitch test results are fairly stable." Mr. Davenport looked over at the oldest and middle bionic who smiled happily.

"Yes! I'm going to school!" Bree squealed, giving Katarina a high five as Adam pumped his fist in the air. "I'm fairly stable!"

Soon the inventors frown deepened as he looked over at the youngest, "But Chase, I am still concerned about your Commando App."

Leo stared at the said boy in disgust, "Commando App? Put on some underpants. We're going to school!"

Katarina couldn't help but roll her eyes at the smaller boy as Davenport shook his head, "No see, in the face of an imminent threat, Chase's Commando App kicks in and he becomes a fearless brute I like to call Spike. It's kinda like a fight-or-flight thing, except I took out the flight part, 'cause, useless. And I replaced it with a testosterone level of like a Tasmanian devil-wolverine-shark-lion hybrid that's mad."

"So.. Like the hulk only he doesn't turn all big and green?" Katarina gulped at the thought of the youngest bionic becoming the opposite of how he was now.

"Don't worry, Mr. Davenport. I promise that Spike won't rear his ugly head." Chase reassured as Davenport let out a little scoff, "Oh, yeah? You mean like last Christmas when I made the mistake of giving Adam boxing gloves?"

Soon the Bionic Trio and the Billionaire started to recall the moment which made Katarina a little scared of what might happen if it does engage. "Ugh, I'm still coughing up tinsel."  Adam groaned, causing both Leo and Katarina to widen their eyes in horror.

Davenport stayed quiet after remembering how bad this Spike person really was, "You know, letting Chase go to school isn't such a good idea. I can't risk Spike coming out."
