Mina's POV

Like most days, I decided to walk, as the school wasn't far from where I lived and the weather was lovely.

Half way through, I stumbled upon an elderly who was involved in an accident. Doing the only humanity thing I could think of at the moment, i rushed to his aid. After I had helped to the best of my abilities, I stopped a taxi and escorted him to the hospital to make sure he was really okay, after the doctor had confirmed to me that the patient was really okay, I went back to the elderly man.

"I just spoke to the doctor and he said you are fine and it's okay for you to go home." Mina told the elderly man.

He chuckled lightly before replying her "I told you i was fine."

I collapsed my body on the empty seat beside the elderly man feeling relief that the man was indeed okay. Mina's attention was brought back when she felt a hand envelope her's "Thank you very much for helping me, i might have not been fine if you didn't come to my aid, not every one would have done what you did."

"No, anyone would have helped in that situation, please dont thank me, I only did what was right." she responded.

"No my child, I should really thank you because not every one would have done the same, believe me. Allow me to repay you as a show of my gratitude for your help." the elderly man asked sincerely.

I felt uncomfortable with the man's request, I didn't understand why he was making it a big deal, if I hadn't helped him someone else would have helped him.

"You dont have to repay me for anything, it's not like i did anything" Mina said giving the man an uncomfortable smile.
