Oh my god............ I have been sleeping for a long time. I was exhausted not only because of the long flight, but also because of constantly thinking about the decision made by my parents. Even though they are my parents, how can they make decisions about my life, even without listening to me. Everybody thinks that since we are living luxurious lives, we can do whatever we want. Actually it's the opposite. The best example is my life.
From the day I was born to Ha family, my life was planned. But I always wanted to be independent. So I ended up becoming an arbitrary girl. The only one in my family that I used to listen to is my sister. She was an angel for me. My parents loved her so much too. Even though she was talkative and free - spirited............she wasn't a troublemaker like me. She used to listen to my parents and she had a born talent towards Business stuffs like marketing. I didn't like a single thing about my family business. I liked something else.
I always liked to find something new. I used to collect small stuffs like pins, straws, etc. and tried to make something new from them. That's why I became an extra-ordinary person according to my parents. But there were 2 persons who admired me..................my sister and my science tutor when I was in middle school.
I really hated the idea of becoming the best daughter of my parents.......because I knew that I have to give up on my dreams for that. Finally my parents gave up their hopes on me. They sent me to a boarding school in USA............saying that I can do whatever I want. I was delighted and sad too. I was sad because I knew that my sister has to carry the burden alone. But she said it's okay if I'm happy. Finally I was sent away from my family when I was 15 years old. The last thing I heard about them (before this chaos happened) was they had moved to Russia.
Everything changed after my dad came to visit me suddenly on the day before yesterday. I was really amazed when our warden ( in the school hostel) told me that my dad came and he is looking for me. I saw him waiting in the hostel garden.
Flashback
Mr. Ha : "How have you been dear? It seems like you have been very well without us."
Chae Won : " Why did you come here all of a sudden? I don't think that it's because you miss me that badly."
Mr. Ha : " You are still rude towards us. Haven't you learn anything about respecting your parents and greeting someone politely."
Chae won : " Can you plz tell me the reason behind your visit. I know how precious time is for you......abeoji. "
Mr.Ha : "Okay then. Let me go straight to the point. You have to come back to Korea now."
Chae won : " Why all of a sudden? I'm really doing fine here and I don't wanna come back."
Mr. Ha : "Listen to me Chae wonie. I'm not asking for your opinion here. I let you to have fun for 2 years. Now you have to take your responsibilities as a member of the Ha family. We're in a huge problem because of your sister's rude behavior. You are the only person who can save our family business now. "
Chae won : "Eonnie........rude behavior......You must be kidding me dad. And how am I suppose to save your renowned business without knowing anything about it?"
Mr.Ha : "Listen carefully to my explanation. Don't interrupt me. Your sister broke her engagement with ShinHwa heir. We have to mend our business relationships with ShinHwa again. Unless it'll be a great loss to us. So you have to comeback to Korea and start attending to ShinHwa high school. Help us to overcome this situation. "
Chae won : " Are you going to use me as a bait?? No..........that won't happen. I'm not going to come "
Mr. Ha : " I already told you that I'm not asking for your opinion. We have decided about it as your parents. I got your leaving certificate from school already. Pack your stuffs for your flight tomorrow. Meet your sister at Jeju airport. I'm going to meet someone here, so I can't come with you. Your sister will help you to find a Villa in Jeju. You can stay with her for sometime. You'll receive a letter from ShinHwa after your enrolling process is done. So good luck dear. "
