Jae kyung's POV
I went to my sister's room. She was already up. But she looked so pale. "Chae wonie.....what's the matter?" I asked her while sitting beside her bead. "Oh....nothing eonnie. I'm fine". "You can't lie you know.......when you are lying, you're blinking rapidly" I chuckled. She hugged me from the side and I embraced her while patting her head. "My baby sis has really grown up.....you're a beautiful lady now." "Oh eonnie stop with the cheesy comments........of course I am beautiful and I know it."
My phone started to ring. It was a message from Jun pyo. I read and sigh. Then I looked at my sis, who gave a confused look.
"Well........it's time........we need to talk about the situation. Let's go downstairs. Everyone is waiting".
Jun Pyo's POV
We listened to the whole story. I can't believe my ears. Are we some sort of toys for our parents. It's like we're the pawns in a chess game. Why they don't want us to be happy and be ourselves. How can you ruin your daughter's future and her dreams just for a business deal.
I'm not gonna talk about my mom. After all she never saw me and noona as her children. It's just we're a family for the world's sake.
I'm not gonna wait this time. Jae kyung really did something that I could never do. She was so brave back then. I owe her this time.
I sighed. "We can't stay here forever. We need to face them. We need to talk to them. If they really like deals that much, we're going to make a deal with them".
"What kind of a deal?" Ji hoo raised his eyebrow.
"Let's tell them that we're going to USA for business studies after completing the basic degree here. After coming back we're going to take the inheritance and we'll keep our business partnership as friends. Jae kyung I need your support. This is the only way we can be ourselves and protect our loved ones. We need to take the burden. " I gave her a meaningful look.
"Will that be okay........I asked from you Jandi." Yi Jung asked playfully and others glared at him. "That's not something to joke around Yi Jung sunbae" Ga eul exclaimed.
I looked at Jae kyung. She was stiffened. Definitely she felt uncomfortable. I felt sorry because part of it is my fault.
Suddenly Jandi stood up from her seat and went towards Jae kyung and sat beside her. Jandi embraced Jae kyung from the side. "Of course I am. She said she's my best friend and my sister. She already did something really admirable. This is the time for me to pay back" she stated. Woow......I'm so proud of her. i saw Jae kyung also smiled.
"I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to hurt anybody's feelings. It's just I wanted to cool down the rising heat of the atmosphere. " Yi Jung said with a concerned and guilty look. Woo bin patted his shoulder.
"I will do whatever to protect my dongsaeng..........and you're right Jun pyo. That's the only way to be ourselves. Let's do it. " she confirmed with a smile. I felt relieved.
I held Chae won's hand. Her expression was gloomy. She might have felt like she's being a burden. "You don't need to worry. After all we are not letting them to ruin your dreams. Still enter to the SHINHWA high school. We can keep an eye on you easily from there. Nobody can do anything to you when you're there" I stated. She looked at everyone and then turned to me. "I believe you. Everyone of you"
