-Elizabeth's POV-

I was trying to sleep, but the lights was just going on and off the whole time and it was banging from that boy. I'm still so scared too.

After another hour, it slowly stopped and the lights went off, finally making me able to sleep.

. . . . .

I was just done with breakfast and was now brushing my teeth. My eyes... they have become slightly darker since yesterday night...

It's a darker blue, the same with Veronica who have a slightly darker yellow now.

"Elizabeth? Are you ready?" She asked. Being done with brushing my teeth, I nodded. We have decided to tie him up in a chair with more chains that Veronica just randomly had in her room. We will make sure he has a hard time moving and then we also have to tie his mouth.

She gave me the chains and a bandana to tie his mouth before taking a chair herself.

The plan was that she would try to pin him down to the floor where we bind him the first layer of chains, then we put him into a chair and bind the rest, lastly doing his mouth.

"Don't forget to never open your mouth." She reminded, making me nod.

I opened the door and she ran inside to tackle him, the only thing was... he wasn't there...

"Veronica? Are you okay?" I asked and ran in after her. I helped her up, but just as I did, she yelled "Elizabeth! He's in the cei-"

She was cut off by us both being pinned down with our necks, my back facing upwards while Veronica laid on hers.

With my face in the floor, I couldn't see what was happening. Veronica didn't say anything, but I clearly heard that she struggled.

"I want your souls! Give them to me!" He demanded with a monotone voice, pushing us down harder.

"No fighting back, over fast!" He continued. Suddenly, I felt Veronica's weak hand on my back. Not being able to stand it anymore, to hear and feel Veronica in pain, I yelled "Fine! We make a deal! Just stop!"

He slowly let go of us, making it easier to breath.

"Your souls. I want them. Give me them." He said. I just sighed and sat up to face those black, scary eyes I don't want to see.

"L-Let Veronica go and I won't fight back. You can take my s-soul, just let her go. Don't hurt her or anything." I said, holding my neck a bit with small tears in my eyes.

"What?! El-" I cut Veronica off by saying "No! Don't get involved!"

She stared me down, but I just ignored it.

"S-so, do we have a deal?" I asked. He stared at me, then he pushed me back down on the floor, holding my shoulders down.

"Using force, I have two souls." He said, still as emotionless as before while pinning me down. I started struggling again, just for him to push me down further while the lights started flickering on and off.

After what felt like hours of struggles, he was thrown back. I saw that Veronica had chained his legs and was now tying his arms towards his body so he wouldn't be unable to move.

I went up and held him still, then helped her lift him up on the chair and hold him down there. Veronica chained his legs to begin with, then his neck and lastly arms to the chair.

I went and picked up the bandana, tying his mouth.

"That was harder than expected." Veronica spoke, making me nod. The lights started fumbling again, making me sigh.

"I'm too familiar with this now. Is that a bad sign?" I asked, looking up at the lamp. She nodded, saying "You have been through too much, we both have."

Then we started walking towards the door and closed it. I sat down at the kitchen table with a deep sigh.

"This should never have happened if I didn't invite him in." I said. Veronica shrugged, saying "Who knows, he could maybe have forced himself in."

"No, I read about black eyed children before going to bed yesterday. This is what I found." I answered, showing her my phone. She read through this before looking up at me, asking "So now we have a demon in the apartment?"

"Maybe, it's still unclear what they are exactly." I answered. She nodded, saying "Well, as pong as we never let him out of the chains, it will probably be okay."

"I feel a bit bad for him though..." I mumbled, laying my face on the table. He won't even be able to move from now on and he's all alone.

"Margaret is coming today, soon we will be aunts! Isn't it exciting?!" She asked, smiling.

"Yes, but I'm a bit jealous of the two of you." I whispered. She gave me a sad look, asking "Why?"

"Margaret have a family and when you and move together, I will be all alone. I also want someone to care for me, to love, to start a family with, but I'm all alone."

"Well, you have that demon here with you." She laughed, making me also do it.

"Yeah, a soul eating demon who is probably furious with us now, he will definitely be a good company!"

"But a bit more seriously, you will find someone. You know, Mael have had his eyes on you a while..." Veronica teased.

Then it was knocking on the door. Veronica was the first to speak "It's probably Margaret."

Nodding, we went up to the door and I opened immediately. However, the one being there wasn't the one we hoped for.

"I'm looking for my brother, I need to rest, will you let me in some minutes?" He asked, having a red one piece looking like it was from the 80ies.

Not another black eyed kid...
