Sunny lied in a prostrate position. A light bulb illuminating his room in a warm, yet dim, yellow glow. He sighed as he turned to his side on his mattress, staring at his blank white wall. He had recently just moved after returning from the hospital with his mother. It was his third night in the city, and it was as dreadful as ever. There was always the loud, constant sound of cars driving by and honking every so often. Not only that, but his neighbors were obnoxiously loud. Not like he could do anything about it, though.

The black haired boy reached a hand to his soft, white eye patch that was given to him after he left the hospital. They said that he was lucky enough that the wound wasn't too deep, and would heal over time, but his eye sight would never be the same. Sunny sighed again as he rolled over yet again, facing up towards the ceiling. It seemed almost impossible to get in a comfortable position.

After a bit more rolling around and squirming, Sunny finally found a comfortable spot and closed his eye. Right before he called fall asleep though, a voice called out to him.

"Sunny! Come out to the kitchen! Kel is on the phone and he wants to talk!" His mother called.

Sunny almost let out a groan. Fantastic.

The boy slipped out of bed before making his way to the kitchen. His mother gave him the phone with a sweet smile and walked off to give him privacy.

"Hey, Sunny! It's Kel," Said an enthusiastic voice from a phone, "How are you, dude? Are ya doing alright? What have you been up to?" Kel suddenly bombarded Sunny with a million questions.

"Um… I'm fine." Sunny said simply.

"That's great to hear, man! Hey, listen. I have a super important question for you." Kel said, suddenly becoming rather serious.

"Yes?" Sunny replied.

"Do you think you'd be up to coming back to Faraway in a few days? I know it's only been like, three days since we last saw you, but I already really miss you! So what do ya say?" Sunny could tell just by the tone of Kel's voice that he was wearing a grin. It made Sunny's own lips curl up a bit. Just the thought of Kel thinking of him made him so happy, although he wasn't sure why.

"Mm… yeah. Sure." Sunny nodded in agreement.

"Yay! I can't wait to see you again, Sunny!" Kel said excitedly.

"Me neith-" before he could finish his sentence, he was quickly cut off my none other than his mother.

"Sunny! I'm sorry to cut your call short but I really need help with this!" His mother called again.

Sunny pouted a bit before speaking again, "I'm sorry, but, my mum needs help with something."

Kel hummed, "Alright, well go help your mom! My mom is probably gonna get on my butt in a sec if I take too long talking anyways. So it's all good!"

"Ok, Well I guess I'll talk to you again soon." Sunny said.

"Yeah! Definitely! We'll it was nice being able to Talk! Bye, Sunny." Kel then hung up the phone.
