Once I wake up, I can't go back to sleep. I watch my fish swim around their tank for a little while before I hear my parents talking downstairs.
"Kit! Come down for breakfast!" my dad yells.
"FOOD." I bellow and run down.

After my morning chores, I head outside to sit by the pool. It is already 90 degrees and it's only 9:00 am. I put my feet in the cool water and sigh... peaceful...as my brother runs outside screaming and shooting his Nerf guns at everything. I shoot him one look and he grins wickedly. I hear the pop of the gun and put up my hand 5 inches from my head and catch the little neon orange bullet that he shot at me. I look at it, then at him. The smile is wiped from his face as quickly as a light going off.
He runs inside.
Ahh...peace.
(A/N In this story, there will sometimes be little pieces that are like 'intermissions' almost. Whenever this happens, I will always put this sign -I-)
-I-
The rest of my weekend was pretty uneventful. I was bored, neglected to do my homework until Sunday night and went to bed late.
-I-
I wake up to my alarm and swing my hand blindly into space. It collides with something and my alarm stops beeping.
I FEEL MAGICAL!
I dress and grab my stuff. Walking down the stairs. Going back up because I forgot my phone. Walking down the stairs. I eat breakfast and leave, early for my first day of school
(A/N Please vote! I know it's boring so far, but it will get better! I promise. Please read and vote and stuff!)
