When the three friends reached the beach, Jasmine pulled out a book from her bag. "Okay, you guys ready?" Her friends nodded. As Jasmine repeated the spell, the waves grew taller and taller. Until they soon towered over the three. "OH. MY. GOD!!" Poppy shrieked. James adjusted his glasses. "Is that safe to swim in?" He asked, clearly the only one who cared about their safety. "You're such a party-pooper! Of COURSE it's safe!" Jasmine responded. The girls ran into the water, while James waited for the wave to go over. A wave hit Poppy and Jasmine right in the face. Sending Poppy flying to shore and Jasmine underwater. James helped his friends up and entered the water. "See, James? It isn't THAT bad!" Poppy scoffed. "You girls just got totaled by a huge wave. But, it was funny. I guess" James shrugged. "Maybe I should calm down the waves? Just a bit" Jasmine suggested, realizing the mistake she made. James and Poppy agreed. Jasmine pulled out her book and said the spell aloud. Almost immediately, the waves calmed down. Making the ocean change from a wave pool to a lazy river. After a while, the friends had to go home to their parents. As Jasmine was biking home, she noticed something lurking near the pond...
