Robin heard Chrom sighing loudly, he scanned the other shepherds and they all seemed to make the same face of annoyance in unison. Chrom had been sulking for long enough,  they needed to move out soon. Robin slowly made his way toward the tent after seeing a defeated Frederick leave not too long ago. "I'm coming in." he announced. The sunlight faded as he entered Chrom's tent. Was dim lighting, a reflection of the Lord's feelings, perhaps? Robin was reading too much into things as usual,  and approached Chrom who wasn't facing him. He tried to think of words that would appeal to him to get him to do something besides wallow in self pity.
"Everyone is worried about you, Chrom. Lissa is too scared to even come in here, fearing you'll bite her head off."

"I don't care, right now I don't want to see you either. " Chrom pouted, crossing his arms.

Robin realized a soft approach wasn't working, perhaps he needed to be a little more forward with his words.  "You're acting like a child. Plus, you're in my final smash!" he realized the mistake he made as soon as he said it. The last thing Chrom wanted to hear was about his small Cameo. "U-um, your trophy looks amazing.  You're making the same pose as Lucina!" again, not the smartest thing to say, considering his daughter is also in smash.

"Are you trying to make me feel worse?" Chrom turned to face Robin, beads of sweat ran down his forehead. "I don't want to be reminded of this now, and you're a hell of a reminder!" he yelled it louder than he meant to and felt a pang of guilt being so childish to his best friend. Robin felt a sting of hurt and swallowed it down, clutching his fists. "Fine, then."

He tried to maintain composure, and turned around silently.  "You really should eat something."he opened the flap to the tent and walked out,  feeling all of the eyes stating at him. Of course they all heard Chroms fit, and suddenly Robin felt flustered, not wanting the others to know Chrom had said that to him, since they appeared so close.

He scurried to his own tent quickly as if they would forget about it if he wasn't there, although that wasn't the case. Lucina entered his tent moments later.

"What did you say to my father to get him to yell at you?" she said, almost accusing him of something.

Robin didn't really want to deal with her warped perception of what kind of person her father is at the moment.  He decided to give as little information as possible. "I just  accidently mentioned a few things I shouldn't have." he scratched his cheek nervously.

"Gods, as long as it wasn't about that damned Smash Bros..." she trailed off, "It wasn't about Smash Bros, right? " Lucina lifted a brow.

"U-um, it might have been a tiny mention...." he looked away. Not wanting to meet her stern gaze. He wished she would go away.

"Robin! Are you really that insensitive? Why don't you think before you speak? Poor father is in pain, and you go in there and pour salt on his wounds?" her volume was getting louder, he didn't want the others to hear and stare at him again, but how to calm her down after she gets like this? She was exactly like her father.

"I didn't mean to, I was trying to make him feel better,  it just..came out wrong." he said sheepishly.

"Wrong is an understatement." she put a hand on her hip. "I always knew you didn't like father."

"That's not true at all!" now it was Robin who was getting loud. "I care for him, I wouldn't be mean just for my own satisfaction.  I truly didn't think before I spoke and now I feel bad, alright?  So please,  just leave." he was feeling hot from raising his voice.

"Fine,  I guess I have to calm him down.." Lucina left Robins tent and headed towards her father's, hopeful she could cheer him up.
