"Troll! Troll in the Dungeons, just thought you'd know," the panicked man cried while simultaneously, sharing eyes with Harry, for a brief moment, before fainting. After that, the Great Hall was launched into pandemonium.

"Great, Quirrell is staring at you again," I told calmly, eating cranberry cake amongst the screaming and crying children, a sour but delicious cake. Harry rubbed at his scar again, he said it hurts whenever Quirrell looks over, "He's been watching you, even though a month has passed of school. You don't think he has ulterior motives, do you?"

"No I don't think so, maybe he just wants a piece of this fame," Harry joked as a way to hide how uncomfortable he was about the situation. Having an adult watch you intensively, every time you come inside the room, will make anyone uncomfortable, especially if you're a minor. "But if he ever tries to be alone with me, I'm running for it."

"I'll cover your back when you run, I can't wait to have a crystalized Quirrell for my living room," I laughed darkly, and Harry laughed back nudging me playfully, with mirth swimming in his eyes.

Transfiguration is a useful subject indeed.

"I thought I was the centerpiece of your attention, am I a side piece now," Harry purred, fluttering his eyelashes delightfully as I giggled and nudged him back before we got up from the table to follow the prefects back to the common room.

Neither noticed the twinkless eyes of the headmaster watching them leave.

Not caring about letting people see our public interactions, I linked my arm with his. "How did a troll managed to get past the school wards?"

I can see a few year-mates glances over, I can see them listen in from the corner of my eyes.

"I don't know, the wards should keep most things out, so the only explanation would be is that a professor or the headmaster brought it in." I started, causing a few to look at me puzzling, "but the headmaster wouldn't do that because he has no reason to..."

"But the DADA teacher does have a reason?" Harry said narrowing his eyes in thought when I nodded. "I didn't know a professor can bring in creatures that big..."

"I think it's because of his position as the DADA teacher, that seems like the most plausible explanation. Dumbledore must've not known about it, due to the fact, that he always seems to not notice most things.

For example his blatant ignorance towards Griffindor doing heinous acts against Slytherins, and switches the narrative every time to make Slytherins at fault, and be punished for Griffindors' acts."

Harry, and me, with a few Slytherins, growled at the reminder.  "I can't believe that man! He just can't be bothered by anything, that doesn't align with his beliefs. He probably fed Professor Snape those lies about me being pampered like a prince."

"That would make sense because Snape goes to Dumbledore a lot," I frowned, "perhaps, they have a very close relationship with each other."

People turned a nasty green at the implications of Snape and Dumbledore together as a couple. In their minds:
