|Brandon's POV|

I woke up early today, so I could meet my siblings my dad had told me about. I learned alot from him, actually.

He told me about how sweet my mother was, until she turned bitter from him leaving her. He told me how she would get in physical altercations with his girlfriends after her, show up at his job and damage his belongings.

I learned she was in prison for assault with a deadly weapon. They had got into a argument, and she stabbed him.

He showed me the scar, and it was on his neck. 36 stitches in and out.

Then it came down to a question, I've been wanting to ask all my life. Why didn't you keep me?

When I asked him he sort of tensed up, but answered me anyways.

Flashback

Why didn't you keep me? I asked him.

He sighed and I prepared for the worst.

"Honestly, we didn't want you.." He mumbled. I raised an eyebrow at him and bit my lip.

"We were still young. I wanted to do the things, young people do. Your mom felt the same.."

I chuckled and shook my head.

"That's a wack ass excuse." I told him nonchantlantly. "I have a son right now, and I wouldn't dare give him up up just so I can party or whatever."

He was about to say something else, but I cut him off.

"My bond with my son, is better than anything else on this world. Even my girlfriend, and I love her more than I love myself." I told him, clenching my jaw.

"Son, you have to understand.." He tried to reason.

"I'm not your son." I shrugged. "As far as I'm concerned, my father is in Cali."

Flashback Over

Today I was just going over to his house to meet my siblings and leave. That's it, that's all.

To be real, I was ready to leave Atlanta, but I had to wait until my mom was released. Hopefully soon.

I grabbed the keys to my rental car and went on about my way. I didn't need a gps, because I knew Atlanta like the back of my hand.

His house wasn't too far from the hotel suite I was staying in. It only took at least 15 minutes to get there. When I arrived I saw him and some lady outside drinking lemonade.

I got out and he smiled at me. I didn't return it, instead I smiled at the lady. No need to be rude to her.

"You must be Brandon." She smiled, hugging me.

"Yes ma'am." I replied, returning the gesture.

"Uh, Brandon this is your grandmother." Brian introduced us.

"Nice to meet you." I say, kissing her cheek.

"You too honey." She smiled. "Are you hungry?"

"Not really, I.."

"Nonsense." She said, cutting me off. "Your two brothers and little sister are in there eating now, let's go."

I chuckled and followed behind her, leaving Brian outside. When we entered the kitchen, everyone looked up at us.

"This is Brandon y'all, your brother." My grandma announced. "And Brandon that's Tyson, Malik, and Briyanna."

"Wassup." I greeted and the boys had nodded.
