He stood there shocked unable to find the words to say after such a gruesome hit from the girl he liked

She stood there in a depressed state after finding out so much that could've changed her life and Rouges, and would still change her life

"You..could've addressed me all of this shit that happened to me Natsu, not put me on the spotlight about whatever the HELL that disease was!"

She spoke ever so angrily that he just looked at her "If I told you, you wouldn't believe me Lucy! I told you so many fucking times that it's not me doing this because I'm not a rapist!"

He walked up to her in anger and yelled at her as she furrowed her eyebrows "You don't know what I would believe" she growls

"So you didn't at least took a chance to believe me by pulling out a fucking phone or computer and look up what was going on, you just straightforwardly accuse me and Rouge of being rapist?!"

Natsu raised his voice frowning at her as Lucy felt tears corner her eyes but they started falling down as Natsu looks at her shocked and lost for words.

Their friends came out to see them as a few other people poked their heads out to see the fight.

"I never even asked to be like this.." she cried and after those harsh but truthful words, she ran off as Natsu was about to chase after her feeling sorry, but Gray came in.

"It's not even worth it Natsu..." he mumbled holding on to his arm "I-I didn't mean that", "but you were being honest, and she has to accept what you told her" he spoke.

Natsu was still at a lost for words but didn't wanna see Lucy cry like that, because that was the very first time that he's ever seen her cry.

"Fuck.." he mumbled and decided to skip the rest of the last period and walk back to his dorm to see if Lucy was there.

He knew that to make her accept the truth, it would only make her hate him more.

But he just doesn't see it yet that instead of her being stuck in a trance of confusion, she'd be free and actually go see someone about that paranoia.

"Just give her a few days Natsu, give her a few days.." he sat on the bed in deep thought seeing she wasn't there.

~Timeskip to a month later~

Natsu was at the cafe with Gray in airplane mode about his thoughts as Gray just looked at him "flambrain-" He was cut off by Natsu speaking up.

"It's been a month, where did she go??" He stared at his cup as Gray sighs and sweatdrops "she'll come back soon, did you continuously call her" he raised his eyebrow.

"Yeah, but she sent me a text a few weeks ago saying to 'leave her the fuck alone' do you know how hurtful that was" he chuckles but knew that's what her personality was.

Gray laughed softly and shook his head "alright..to relieve stress about your first college crush, let's go out, party, and you can pick up a chick from there" he said.

Natsu thought about it "I don't know..I feel like I'm not even the old me anymore, and the old me didn't give a fuck about anything" he chuckles softly.

"So relive that old you, get over Lucy because I possibly believe the girl hates you" Gray said as he thought about it some more.

"...fine, tonight we're going to the biggest club, it's a Saturday and I don't wanna fuck up my mood more" he got up paying with Gray and they walked out of the cafe shop.

They headed back to the college's campus and Gray seen Juvia, Gajeel, Jellal and Erza with Levy "Yo!" Gray smiles as Juvia ran over to him.

"Gray-sama!" She hugs him as he chuckles softly rubbing her back and smiling "how are you holding up salamander?" Gajeel raised his eyebrow.

"I'm fine, I don't wanna mess up the mood more but how any of you seen Luce? She can't just ghost me like this after I told her the problem with her" he mumbled

"I mean she kind of can, you could've addressed it to her privately, not told any of u-" Jellal chuckles but was cut off my Juvia.

"Ah well actually she told her herself, and uh ummm I don't know where she's been, homeschooling in her own home?" She giggles as Natsu found that suspicious as to what she was saying.

But threw away the feeling by shrugging it off "Anyways scratch this topic, I heard Rouge is going into court again about the alleged so called rape" Erza said.

"That's the same topi- but yeah I heard too, we can go there next week to speak up about what actually happened, and give the judge proof?" Gajeel said.

"He's right, the goal was to get Rouge out of jail, tell Lucy about all this, but also get Lucy to be mine and apologize but I don't know where the fuck she is" he sweatdrops as they laughed.

"The club will relieve that stress, so who's down to go tonight?" He smirks as they all grin and nodded while natsu sighs.

"This better be worth the frustrations" he said as Gray chuckles "what could go wrong??"

~Timeskip to 9:00 at night~

They were all ready and dressed up to head to the club on a  excited Saturday night as Natsu was in his and Lucy's room looking in the mirror.

He couldn't shake off the feeling that Lucy was around somewhere, just hiding to be away from him so he sighed and buttoned up his shirt tucking in his pants.

He dusted himself off and went outside to everyone dressed up in the living room. "Alright, let's go enjoy this night, for Rouge and for Lucy" he smiled as they all groaned.

Natsu stood there confused "what?"

"This is to get your mind off of Lucy Natsu, now come on everyone and let's actually party, not not continuously be in deep thought" Erza chuckles as they all laugh except Natsu.

"Yea yea" he shook his head grinning and they all left.
