"So Natsu, what are you gonna do? She's right there" They looked at the shocked salmon head.

"I.." he couldn't process the right words. All he could think about was what would happen if he did confront her.

Welp, that's too late now, because she's looking at him, shocked out of her mind in eye contact.

Lucy froze in her spot as her friend Angelina looked at the two curious. "Oh Lucy do you know him..?" She smiles.

"Well..I'm sorry I have to go" she muttered and left off as Natsu watched her leave and in a instant.

All of his thoughts said to chase after her!

"BLONDIE wait!" He ran off after her as the guys and Angelina looked at them surprised.

"Sorry our idiot friend has a problematic past with her" Jellal laughs nervously as the girl smiles nervously and nods.

"YO! Luce!" She stopped and turned to him as he stopped and they shared a far eye contact.

"What do you want??", "..you look good in that dress" he chuckles, trying to relieve the dim atmosphere.

The two were alone in the parking lot as Lucy blushed and frowns at him "I don't need a compliment from a dipshit like you Dragneel"

"Then let me rephrase my apology to something mature, I'm sorry..okay?"

"I just wanted you believe I wasn't some rapist, I had to make you understand one way or the other"

"So you went with the other way and not just sorted this out with me, alone of my paranoia?" Truth was, she was right.

"You're right, I could've done that and I was an asshole but.." he took a deep breath.

"Lately I haven't been feeling up to the playboy freak who can score tons of chicks, lately I haven't had to attitude or bully habit"

"And why is that??" She raised her eyebrows and crossed her arms. "Because all that shit can change just from one woman"

Lucy was at a lost for words but needed clarification on what he truly meant by that.

"I like you, Heartfilia"

Her eyes widened and her breathing stopped for a quick second before it got back on track.

"I-.."

"You can punch the fuck out of me, hit me, cuss me out for all the shit we and especially you went through, but please..

If you just give me a chance, I'll change just for you and we can fix all this together" he took a few steps toward her.

Lucy looked down embarrassed with a deep blush spread across her face. Would any women think a confession like this would make them say yea?

Because that's what she wanted to say at the moment.

"G-give me time Natsu-"

She was cut from her words when he grabbed her arm and pulled her in for a close hug.

"I can't wait again blondie, this past month has been shitty, sexless, and stressful having a crush on the woman that was gone"

"Y-you've went sexless because of me? Usually you'd relieve stress of sex" she muttered.

The salmon head chuckled at her words "Trust me, I was gonna do that tonight until I saw you, smoking wasn't enough"

Lucy thought for a quick second and fell right in the sappy but truthful words he gave her.

She blushed and wrapped her arms around his neck as he pulled her close in a hug and buried his face in her neck.

"I'm sorry Lucy, I really am" he mumbled as she nods "it's okay, just trust your words and we can sort things out" she giggled.

Natsu smiled and nodded "So. Wanna smoke and talk alone in the dorms?", "well you can predict easily that I smoked"

He playfully bit her neck and grins "your friend looked like she carried weed just in case, so I'm sure of it" they both laughed.

"Okok, let's go tell the o-" she stopped and looked at the group of friends standing in front of them.

Natsu was confused and looked behind him as Gajeel grins "welcome back bunny girl"

"Eep! Don't break out your hug yet! I wanna join in" Juvia giggles and brought Gray with her to hug the two.

"I don't wanna hug that flameshithead/iceeater" the two frowns an said in unison as the rest laughed.

Levy smiled, feeling new to the group but shrugs it off and brought Gajeel with her to join in the hug.

Erza and Jellal both chuckled and joined in the hug as Natsu stayed the closest to Lucy.

"I missed you guys, and I love you all, but holy fuck YOU'RE SUFFOCATING ME" she sweatdrops as they all quickly break out and laugh.

"So everything is good right?" Jellal smiles as the two pair smile and nods "then let's go home"

They got in the car and went back to the college dorms as Lucy lays on Natsu rested her eyes.

I wouldn't necessarily say they're a couple yet, because Lucy's got a lot of truthful shit to say.

But drunken or high words are truthful words.

Gajeel pulled up in the parking lot and they all got out, saying their 'see you tomorrow's' and heading to their dorm.

Natsu unlocked the door and walked in as Lucy walks in and looks around "ah~ I haven't been here in so longgg"

"Where have you been?" Natsu chuckled and went to the kitchen to make sandwiches "A rent house, doing online schooling"

"Well you don't have to worry anymore, we'll pay for our dorm together blondie" he grins and gave her the sandwich.

"I was angry, but lonely so it feels nice being back" she took off her heels and went in the bedroom as Natsu went to turn on the tv.

"Tomorrows a weekend so wanna just spend the whole day here, chilling and talking?"

He leans against the bedroom door as she sat on the bed and ate her sandwich. "Sure, but tonight Mr Dragneel.."

She got up and walked over to the 6 foot man in her 5'7 toes and grins looking up at him "I'd like to tell about me liking you"

She took cigarettes out of his pocket as he raised his eyebrow and grinned "alright then"
