Y/N's POV
I woke up on the floor of the van and Beside me with D/N. I panicked and shaked D/N to wake up. Then he woke up and everyone else. I attempted to move my leg and neck but it hurt like heck so did it D/N. "Is everyone ok?" Darius asked as he rubbed the back of his head. Yasmina chuckled sarcastically, "Is everyone..." She opened the door and got out of the van with anger and stress.
"Yaz, wait!" Sammy exclaimed as she rushed out of the back doors of the van and ran toward Yasmina. Then everyone got out of the van and stretched for a bit. I saw that the front of the van was busted up. I asked if D/N was okay and he nodded. "We're not okay! We're in the middle of a jungle with a monster dinosaur out then, and you... You..." Yasmina exclaimed. "Destroyed our only way to get help and lied about it! I told you guys!" Brooklynn shouted.
"So you did take Brooklyn's phone. Why? What are you doing?" Darius asked. "Probably trying to erase my video of her taking those samples from the sinoceratops. [gasps] And you knew about the Indominus rex because you were snooping around Dr.Wu's office when I ran into you. I knew it!" Brooklynn said coming toward Sammy. But I looked at Brooklynn and Sammy with a mad glare because they said to my father's office and snooped around but I knew it had to be a good reason so I cooled it off. "I didn't mean to destroy the phone. I fell on it when the zipline came down and--" Sammy explains.
"But you did steal it? You had it the whole time and didn't tell us?" Ben interrupted Sammy. "Hold up. What were you doing in Dr. Wu's office, Brooklyn? Darius asked, Brooklynn. Brooklynn looks down on the ground then looks at Sammy. "I... It doesn't matter. I didn't break our only way to call for help and then lied about it! This is not my fault! This is her fault! She--" Brooklynn shouted at Sammy. Sammy covered her ears because of Brooklynn yelling.
Then Sammy shouted, "I'm here to spy!" Everyone looked at her with wide eyes. "For a company called Mantah Corp." Sammy said, looking down at the ground. (Mantah Corp.) "Mantah Corp? They're a bioengineering company, big rivals with Masrani. They tried to make dinosaurs, too, but Wu beat them to it." Darius said. "You doomed us all for some lousy company?" Ben shouted with anger.
"Our ranch was in so my folks had to borrow a lot of money from some shady people. We didn't know they were fronting for Mantah Corp. They said we'd lose everything unless I spied for them. Use the behind-the-scenes access I'd get at camp to gather info from Wu's lab, and DNA from dinos,and whatever else they needed. But then Brooklynn caught on, and I got scared, and then everything went wrong. This is the last thing I want to happen." Sammy explains.
"To be honest D/N I feel very bad for Sammy and her family." I whispered to D/N. "Oh. [scoffs] To be next to a broken van on a killer Dinosaur Island? Hey, me, too! What are the odds?" Yasmina said. "Yaz, I--" Yasmina interrupts Sammy "Was it all a lie, wanting to be friends? Pretending you cared about... You just needed someone to hide what you were doing. Tell me I'm wrong. I'm such an idiot." Yasmina said as Sammy tears fell.
