||HOLLAND'S P.O.V||

The bell for 3rd period goes and there is still no sign of Jack.

I walk out of the class and into the hallway.

I see a dark haired boy walking the other way. I walk up to him.

"Jack?" Nope. It was Dylan.

"Oh, sorry to disappoint you" Dylan smirked, noticing he wasn't who I was looking for.

I laughed and walked with him. "No, I was just looking for.." My voice trailed off.

I spotted Jack in the corner with the same blonde haired guy and a couple of girls. Hm, no crowd this time.

I start walking up to him slowly when someone shoves a piece of paper in my face.

I took it and read it. 'PARTY. FRIDAY. 8.00.'

I shoved it back in my pocket and kept walking towards Jack.

When I got to the corner, I looked at the spot where Jack was but he wasn't there anymore.

I sighed and went back to Dylan.

"Who were you looking for?" He asked.

"Just, someone I met the a few weeks ago at work." I looked around again. I didn't mention he hasn't texted me back.

Dylan nudged my arm and grinned. "Who'd you meet at the bar?"

"Jack."

Dylan's face dropped. "Jack who?"

"Gilsilky??"

"Gilinsky." Dylan corrected

"You know him?" I looked at him confused.

"Yeah, we used to play football together. But listen, he's a player. Stay away"

I nodded slowly.

"We better get to History. We're kind of late" Dylan laughed awkwardly.

"Let's go." I smiled and we walked off to history.

I wasn't really paying much attention to what the teacher was saying when two boys walked in, almost 20 minutes late.

I look up and realise it was the blonde haired boy and Jack.

He looked at me for a split second and looked away. He immediately looked at me again after he realised it was me.

We didn't break eye contact until he sat down, he bumped into a few tables on the way.

Ms Hennig kept going on and on about something that happened thousands of years ago.

I wasn't paying attention when something hit me on the back.

I looked up at Dylan, he was glaring at Jack. Jack looked at me and waved a little. I turn my back towards him and continue on not paying attention.

I feel something hit my back, again. I watch it fall on the floor and look straight up at Dylan. His eyes were closed. I look at Jack and he gestures for me to pick up the note.

I ignore him and get back to not paying attention.

Soon enough I feel another note hit me on the back, and another, and another.

"Gillinsky!" Ms Hennig shouts, "Detention, that goes for you too Miss Benson."

I groaned and sunk in my seat.

"Now pick up the papers."

I bent down to pick them up when two feet got in my way.

Jack.
