"Hey dad" beth shouts walking in through the door
"Yes sweetie I'm in the kitchen" he shouts back to her.
Beth walks into the kitchen "hey dad uh Alexa is going to be staying with us for a bit until her mum comes back" beth smiles grabbing an apple from the fruit bowl.
"That's fine, what's happened as she gone back to her old ways?" Beth dad wonders
"Yeah" beth sighs
Alexa walks through the front door with her 2 bags. "Thanks for letting me stay mr Martinez" Alexa smiles. He looks at her giving her a warning look for using his last name.
"It's fine and please no more mr Martinez please" he nods his head and raises his eyebrow
"Okay" she strokes her arm.
"Let's go to my room" Beth looks at her
"Why don't you have the guest room then you both can have your own space when needed" he says
"Yeah sure" the both girls starts to walk up stairs
"Guest room is at the end near my dads room it might be a bit dusty nobody goes in there anymore" beth says
"Okay" Alexa smiles
Alexa walks towards the room she staying in and dumps the bag on to the floor and walks to Beths room. "Hey" she says shyly
"What's up?" Beth looks up to her
"I can't help but thinking that it's all my fault that she's gone what if I was there more and noticed the signs?" She wipes her tear before it goes rolling down her cheek.
"Hey it's not your fault never will be. It will always be a part of her addiction is so hard the tempting will always be there" beth smiles at her.
"I know but I wish I was there for her before she did one" Alexa frowns and walks over to Beths bed and lyes down and Beth joins her lying down next to her.
"I know you did maybe she went to get help who knows only time will tell" Beth looks up to the roof .
Alexa starts to fall asleep and Beth pulls the covers over her.
Beth gets up and leaves the room going downstairs. She walks into the kitchen noticed they was talking for an hour and it was already 8pm she grabs something to eat and sits down at the table to start munching.
"Hi sweetie how she doing" beth dad walks in.
Beth jumps "you scared me then, not to bad she thinks it her fault for all of this" she sighs
"It's nobody fault but at least she has you and this is always her second home" he smiles
"Yeah" she eats.
"I'm going bed night" he says walking out
"Night" beth says washing her plate and heading back to her room to go to sleep.
Alexa rolls over "hey time to get up beth" she says .
Beth starts waking up "hey you feeling better this morning?" She says turning to wards her
"Well not exactly but I need to carry on" she smiles.
"I'm here if you need me" beth smiles back
"I know you are" Alexa sits up
"College? Today" beth sighs
"Imma skip today not feeling up to it" Alexa sighs
"That's fine" beth gets up
"I'll leave you to get ready and I'll see you when you get back" Alexa smile and walks out to her room.
She walks in swaps in to a over sized sweatshirt with just panties on underneath as she's the only one left in the house. She starts cleaning the room she's staying in. Dancing while listening to some music. She gets the room sorted and cleaned and can't even see a speck of dust . She walks out and goes downstairs.
She walks to the fridge and grabs out some cheese and cooks some pasta. She makes cheesy pasta. She sits down and starts to eat once she's finished she walks over to the sink and starts to wash the plates. all of a sudden she is pressed against the kitchen counter with someone behind her.
