Mako Mermaids: Legend of the Silver Mermaid

It's been a year since the trident stone was destroyed, and Erik left. The mermaids return with Zac, and Evie as members of the pod.

During a swim in the ocean Sirena encounters a mermaid she never saw before from a far distance.

Is that a mermaid? I don't know any other that is not from the pod. Wait, is that?

Sirena couldn't believe what she was seeing. The mermaid's tail was different when she swam back to the moon pool, seeing both Mimmi and Ondina.

"Hey Sirena, you swam here really fast."

"Something happened?"

"We need to talk to Rita, Veridia, Zac, and Evie. I saw a mermaid that is not in our pod, and something is different about her."

"Okay let's get going."

At Rita's Grotto Sirena begins to explain to everyone what she saw.

"When I saw her, her tail was very different, like a different color."

"But all the mermaids have the same tail color."

"This mermaid's tail is silver."

This was a huge shocker to almost everyone in the grotto.

"A SILVER TAIL!! YOU SAW A SILVER TAIL MERMAID?"

"But I thought they were just an urban legend?"

"I know, but I swear I saw a silver tail mermaid."

This was a shock to them as Zac and Evie looked confused.

"I hate to ask, but what is a silver tail mermaid?"

"Before the war between the mermaids and mermen were once pods of silver tail mermaids that lived in certain places throughout the ocean. One day during the war they just disappeared."

"What caused them to disappear?"

"No one knows what caused their disappearance. Some said that they live in deeper darker parts of the ocean. Others said that the mermen completely ambushed and slaughtered them to the brink of extinction."

"But would she be a threat to both the pod and the humans?"

"Only if they're threatened. They would attack to defend themselves."

"I think we should split into two groups to find her."

"I don't follow a merman's suggestion, but I agree with Zac. It would be easier for us to find her on land and ocean.

"Zac, Evie, Mimmi and I will look for her on land."

"Then Ondina, Sirena, and I will search for her in the ocean."

As they searched Evie informed Cam, Carly, and David about what Sirena saw, and needed their help in finding her. Mimmi at her job was searching as well. Ondina and Sirena search near the shores of the Gold Coast, and the shores of Mako Island.

"Any luck finding her?"

"We search every shore on the mainland, and Mako Island."

"But no luck."

On land at Suncoast High they searched for her as well.

"We checked everywhere that even Cam, David, and Carly are helping to look for her at school."

"Mimmi couldn't find her at the Marine Park either."

"I think it's best we put the search on hold till school ends."

In Ms. Trumble's class Zac, and Evie couldn't stop with the anxiety of looking for her while she was giving a lecture.

"Already in class and I'm already anxious to find her."

"Calm down Zac she could be everywhere."

"Mr. Blakely, Ms. McLaren are you two interrupting my lec-"

"Excuse me is this Ms. Trumble's classroom?" A new voice said as everyone looks at the girl.

"Yes it is, and who you may be?"

"My name is Mikayla and you could say that I'm new here."
