My name is not important but for this story lets just refer to me as X. Over the next few months I will be attempting an experiment in the field of dreams. I believe that while we are asleep our brains have access to more concepts, ideas, methods and many other things that we can't comprehend while we're awake. In our dreams we can create or do anything we want, anything we imagine.

The theory I am proposing is that while we are asleep, I will slowly work towards accessing these thoughts, ideas and other processes and then in turn access more areas of my brain. Because humans create links every time we discover something new or learn new things I wondered, can we create links in our sleep. Yes we can, these will help me achieve my goal of gaining more mental conscious and subconscious control.
I will be progressing using a set of steps which I have carefully thought out to achieve my goal of further control.

The Steps:

1. First step gain control over remembering dreams to a higher extent. Writing down dreams as soon as they happen and having more vivid dreams.
I will be eating and drinking different foods which trigger different types of dreams and stronger more lucid ones.
I will be documenting dreams as soon as they happen in the morning
I will be progressively trying to interact with them

2. Second step become aware in dreams.
I will be using a mantra, using frequent reality checks during the day by saying three words.
"Am I dreaming?"
This will help with progress to step three

3. Third step gaining control of actions in dreams like, performing actions and making decisions.
At first decisions should be logical to avoid waking up or creating disturbance in dreams
Then progressively illogical decisions like making items appear or doing different things
This will lead to step 4

4. Becoming fully mentally aware in dreams
this may take some time and effort this stage can be difficult as our brain uses different lobes while we're sleeping.
I believe in my dreams I can surpass these, not physically but in a mental state
