Chapter 18: Helpless

Dawns POV

"Thank you Zane." I said, we walked back to the bounty and fathers house. There we saw every one tide up to the trees!

"Father!" I yelled, forgetting all about my wounds I shot up. I began to run but as soon as I stepped on my left ankle I fell into the snow.

"Dawn!" Yelled Zane, he helped me up and back into the wheel char. He walked over and untied every one. Father came over to me and hugged me.

"I'm so glad your safe." He said,

"I'm fine dad." I said,

"What happened?" Asked Zane,

"We wore attacked by the hole army of skeletons! They all came at us at once!" Said Kai,

"Your telling me you all lost to a bunch of bone heads?" I asked,

"Pretty much." Said Jay,

"Wow. The hole army is scared of me." I said,

"They are?" Asked Cole,

"Heck ya they are! Those morons think I'm the offspring of evil and death! It's funny." I smiled,

"Well it looks like your feeling much better." Said Lloyd,

"Ya, it's still hurts like I'm being stabbed by daggers but its better." I said, they all looked at me like I was crazy.

"Well next time they come we can jest scare them off." Said Jay, then the sun started to come up. My normal form came back and I got very sleepy.

"Ok, well the sun is up I'm gonna get Dawn back inside." Said Zane, we went inside then he picked me up and placed me on the bed gently.

"Sweet dreams." He said as I drifted to sleep.
