How to attract a lover. That was what it said. I don't know what made me turn to voodoo, I guess I was desperate. I needed him to like me so bad, I needed to have a boyfriend. I needed Nate Davis to be my boyfriend. I never believed in magic, or voodoo, or anything Superstitious, but I did it anyway. I guess I was hoping, even a little that it'd work. A part of me said No, it was going to end with disastrous result, there would be terrible side effect but I said no. I was hoping.

My name is Avery Miller, I'm invisible, Anonymous even, to the opposite sex. I've been in love with Nate Davis since the second grade. But this love has remained unrequited. Nate has been dating Hannah Hastings since forever up until last summer when they broke up. I knew even though he was single, I had zero chances with him. So I subjected to googling, How to attract a lover. And I ended up here, in this lame site, also titled How to attract a lover, Apparently it had weird written all over it. But unlike me, I ditched my instincts and went ahead to do what the stupid site required. The instructions were simple : Get a candle, Lit the candle, write his name in a piece of paper, with a heart beside it, burn the piece of paper, get the ashes and blow it into the air. "How difficult could that be", so I thought. Well I'll tell you how difficult it is, difficult enough to ruin my life, and that, that is exactly what it did.
