"Hello?" I call out, only to get welcomed by silence, by nothing. Only pure darkness and emptiness. There's nothing here, and it seems like I must be the only living creature here.
The thought of being alone sickens me, and not being able to hear any sound at all at this point was killing me inside. But even if I really am all alone in this place with no light or sound, at least I'm not getting torn apart by any kids. For once, I actually feel happy to be alone.
It looks like there is no way out of here. I have been walking for what seems like hours, but still I saw nothing. I finally gave up, and decided that I should rest. I closed my eyes and I felt like I was slowly drifting to sleep.
"Mangle.."
My eyes shot open. I got up and frantically looked around for whoever was the one to call my name. That voice. It sounded so warm and sweet, it made me feel safe and cozy.
"Is anyone there?" I yelled.
"Mangle," A voice said "Follow me."
I didn't know where to go, bacause I couldn't see anything. So I stayed silent for a while.
"Mangle, please, follow me."
"I-I can't." I yelled out while tears were already forming in my eyes.
"And why not?"
"I can't see you," I cried "I can't see anything."
"Just because ya can't see me, doesn't mean I'm not here, me lassie. Me have been always here. Yer just too blind and too hurt to see it. Thruth be, there's always someone out there for ya. "
"W-who are you?" I sniffed.
"Me won't reveal me identity to ye, ye'll just have to find out yerself. Don't worry, ye'll know me when you see me. So until then, just have faith lassie, and let hope lead the way."
The words echoed everywhere, it made me even more confused. But I felt like I didn't have anything to worry about. Even if I didn't know who was talking to me, but I knew that I needed to have faith and keep my hopes up high.
"Thank you," I sniffled as more tears were streaming down my cheeks. "Thank you so very much."
No one answered to me. But still I felt a warmth sorrounding me and keeping me safe from the coldness.
I felt someone tap on my activate button and I immediately woke up. I was confused for a while, but soon realized that it was all a dream.
"Come on Mangle, get out there and entertain the kids."
I flinched at those words, but did as I was told. I got to the spot where I would stay all day, and get braked by the little monsters.
I felt eyes on me. At first I just shrugged it off, but after a while it made me feel so uncomfortable that I had to look for whoever was staring at me. Surprisingly, it was the pirate fox that performs at pirate cove. He had a look of pitty and sadness in his eyes as he looked at how I was getting disassembled by the little children. He finally realized that he got caught staring at me and looked away, blushing.
