Finally, the day was over. It was time for me, and all the other animatronics to get disactivated. Everyone went back to their original places, and waited for the security guard to disactivate us.
Today, I decided to be with the old and withered animatronics. I don't want to be alone. And they're the only friends I have. It's been months since I last saw them.
"So h-how was yo-ur d-da-y, Ma-ngle?" Freddy asked. His voice box was damaged. Hence, he couldn't talk properly anymore unless he would be fixed. But no one would ever fix them. They already got replaced.
"It was okay." I lied. In reality, it was painful as always. But my friends suffer too. And I don't want to make my sadness become a part of their sadness too.
"M-angle, if the-there's any-thing bo-thering-ng yo-u, you c-can just t-tell us." Bonnie said. Even though he lost half of his face, he still looked charming in my opinion.
"Don't worry, everything's fine." I smilled. They all smilled back at me. They really are the best.
"Where's Foxy?" I asked.
"Oh, don't w-worry, he'll b-be here soon." Chica said. Her voice box was the least damaged one compared to Freddy and Bonnie, and sometimes she could still talk without stuttering.
I layed down on the cold and hard floor. I just want to sleep 'till morning, just the way I did last night. I'm in no mood to bother the security guard.
I heard the door creak, and quickly looked at it. Fortunately, it was just Foxy.
"I tell ya, those kids ar' sure 'ard to take care of." He said. His voice box still working properly, only slightly making his voice raspy sometimes.
His body stiffened when his eyes landed on me.
"A-at least you st-ill g-get to perform up th-there." Chica pointed out with a small scoff.
"But I wish ye be also performing there with me. It just not be the same without ye all." He sighed.
The door creacked again, and the security guard walked in. "Tired, aren't ya, Foxy?" He asked. Foxy stayed quiet.
"You should be thankful that I still secretly activate you three without the boss finding out." He said to the three withered animatronics.
He pushed Bonnie's button, making the red lights on his "face" slowly dissapear. Next was Freddy, he tapped the button and it looked like all the life in his system was vanishing. It hurt me seeing them being put to sleep like this. And finally Chica. I didn't even want to see this time, so I turned my head away.
"Sleep tighth." The security guard said. I still don't remember his name for some reason.
He was turning to Foxy, and he was about to disactivate him, until the pirate stopped him.
"No, me won't be sleeping this night." He said.
"Alright then." He said and went over to me.
"I find it quite unusual to see you here, Mangle." He told me.
"Yeah." I sighed.
"I'm not tired." I added.
He stood up and turned around. Just as he was about to leave, he looked at us and said "I don't want you two causing any trouble for the night-shift security guard. You got that?"
We both nodded. After that, he finally left.
I turned into a comfortable position and closed my eyes. I can't go to sleep though. I need to be disactivated. Come to think of it, why did I want to stay up?
"L-Lassie?"
"Hmm?" I looked up.
"Ye still be havin' nightmares?" He asked.
I blinked. "Y-yeah. They've gotten worse too."
Foxy gave me that look of concern again.
"But.." I said "They always end with this voice telling me that I'm going to be alright."
He lightened up at this. "Really?"
"Yeah. I don't know who it is though. They never told me who they are."
"Oh.." he said.
"So how's it like over at Pirate Cove?"
"It sure be a blast. It always be full of fun! And the kids be- great.." He trailed off, realizing he said something wrong.
"I-I'm sor-"
"No, it's fine. Don't be." I reassured him.
He gave me a smile, and I couldn't help but smile back.
Suddenly Foxy got up and his ear twitched.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I 'ave to save 'im." He growled, and immediately ran out of the room.
"Foxy, wait! Where are-" I realized I was too late, though. He was already too far to hear me.
"..Where are you going?" I repeated to myself.
He wasn't coming back any time soon, so I went over to my lifeless friends. I snuggled next to them, closing my eyes again. It was nice like this, she couldn't hear or see anything. Just pure silence.
**I didn't realize that people actually liked my story. At first I only did this for fun, and because one of my friends at school wanted me to. But wow, people actually enjoy it.
I have to update a lot to make it up to the people who voted and commented, or just read my story.
Thanks a lot guys.
P.S. I'm extremely sorry if Foxy's "pirate language" is wrong. I'm not that good at it.**
