I was dropped of to Bea's place. My head was still spinning from the fast driving of James. We stopped in front of her house, I kissed my dads forehead and waved goodbye to everyone else. I knew for a fact that it was going to be months before I'd see this group again. School days would be back, and reality will go back to ruining my life again. I got down the car and walked towards Bee's doorway and waved one last time to daddy.

I rang the buzzer. "Bee!" I shouted, exaggeratingly.

"Coming! Wait up dude." She shouted back.

We were always like this. Shouting at each other like there's no tomorrow. She's been my bestfriend since gradeschool, together with Nacy. We've been the perfect three since then. We've formed this inseparable bond that I think every girl envies. We know each other very well that even the darkest the phases of our lives lightens up when one of the three of us enters it. We know and accept each others flaws. Yea, We really ARE the perfect 3. I smiled at that thought.

"Hi." I said and waved at her as she opened the door for me.

"Hey." She said. Obviously uninterested.

"What happend? Your expression looks like Jude died." I said.

Jude is Bea's long-term boyfriend. They've been together since our freshmen year and they've been tight since then.

She pinched my nose. "Shut up. There's someone new in here." She frowned.

"Huh? What are you sayin'?" I whispered playfully.

She rolled her eyes at me. "His names Miguel. Mom says we should call him Miggy. He's Ronald's son. My stepbrother for short. His mother sent him over cause apparently, he's causing trouble in their place." She sighs.

We walked towards their couch. She sat at the edge, texting as usual. "Well, whats the problem?"

"He's another burden. He doesn't even talk!" She said dramatically.

"Well, lets see him. Maybe he's just and introvert or something. You know what they say about newbees right? They're worth knowing." I said with my most convincing tone.

"Are you kidding me? You know me. I would not act like this if I didn't try." She dropped her phone to the couch.

"Well, what do you mean? You dont act like this often. What exactly happend?" I raised one eyebrow.

"Well.." She laid her head down the pillow at her back. "He came in after Christmas. He's the reason I've been endlessly texting you and Nacy for the past week. I tried my best to reach out to him. He just seems.. so weird. You know? Weird like the murderers in movies?"

"Mm-hmm." I said quietly.

"He just doesnt appreciates our efforts. Ronald gives everything to him. He rides a motorbike instead of a car. Ronald says he prefers to be alone. He's weird Miaa!" She exclaimed.

"Well whats wrong? I dont hear anything bad." I smirked

"I'm not done yet!" She hissed. "He sneaks out at midnight. You know? Like a cat." She frowned.

"Oh. Now, that, sounds weird." I said.

"See?" She replied.

"Well, is he cute though?" I giggled.

"Are you freakin' kidding me? Seriously bes." She laughed

"Well, lighten up. I'm hungry. Wanna grab something?" I said.

"Do you even have your slumber things?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Hm, Would you mind accompanying me home. I'll just grab a few stuff." I tilted my head and exposed the irresistable puppy dog eyes I love.

"Whatever, cunt." She got up and digged for her keys. "Come on, lets go."

I followed and walked silently behind her. I glanced at her legs covered in jeans. She had the perfect body, but she was always afraid to show it off. She had a lot of insecurities, but she was perfect to me. She's probably the best- bestfriend anyone could ever have.

"Hey, what ya' staring at?" She smiles.

"Nothing." I lied, and walked to her side grabbing her arm and started singing our song.

Oath: Cher Lloyd.

We got to my place and I opened the gate. She stood outside waiting.

"Hey, arent you gonna come in?" I smiled.

"Nah. I prefer waiting here. You know, nature and stuff." She giggled.

I laughed and got in.

I held my breath and closed my eyes. I always get emotional everytime I enter this house. It's the same house kept me hoping that things in my life would be better someday. It was the same house  that broke up my parents. The same house that was built for comfort but gave me the opposite. I opened my eyes and shook the thoughts off. I grabbed my usual backpack and stuffed everything I useful I saw lying around. A notebook. My pencilcase. A picture of my favorite Hollywood stars, Rob and Kristen. And 2 shirts. I ran out the door and locked it before the dark thoughts occupied my mind.

"Hey. I'm done. Lets go." I faked a smile and closed our gate.

"Something wrong?" She knew me well.

"Getting dramatic as usual."

"Wanna talk about it?" She offered.

"No thanks." I shrugged.

 --

It took us another 15 minutes to walk back to her place. We talked about her and Jude. They we're fighting about what movie to watch this weekend. She wanted to watch the anime series she bought and Jude wanted to go out and watch that new gory movie, The Hills. Honestly, I was on Judes side. I smirked.

We talked the whole night. Catching up on each other. We skyped Nacy. We watched a few shows. She fell asleep and I sat there not even wanting to sleep. I was uneasy. After a few minutes, I realized that I was thirsty. I tiptoed and got off the bed. I opened the door and skipped my way to the stairs. The lights were closed and I was freaked out when I saw a shadow against the glass that was faced towards the swimming pool.. I realized that it wasnt just a shadow. It was a person. Miguel. The new guy...

"What the f.." I shrieked.

"Hey, never seen a person before?" He whispered and faced me.

"No. Not in the middle of the night, let alone in front of my bestfriends pool!" I hissed.

"Well, correction. This is my fathers pool also." He turns his back on me.

"Whatever, dude. What are you doing up this late anyway?" I asked as walked towards the refrigerator.

"None of your business." He replied.

"You could at least be less rude to your visitor." I said.

"You're Bea's visitor. Not mine." He said coldly.

"Good point. Well, goodnight anyway. I hope you see whatever you're looking for in there." I whispered and tiptoed back to the stairs after drinking a glass of water.

When I got back to bed, I realized that his voice was familiar. It was something I heard in the past.. Something vague..  I didnt see his face clearly. I only saw his tall and slightly muscular figure that was against the pool light. There was something about him that I was sure I already saw, something I was sure I knew... Something familiar..

I slowly drifted to sleep and later did I only know that I was dreaming.. Of the same guy I always saw  in my dreams. He was dark, tall and narrow-eyed. In my dreams, he was always the one I ran after.. Then for the first time in a long time of dreaming this dream.. He spoke..

"Come." He said, gesturing his hand towards me.

That was only when I realized, that Miguel.. Was the man in my dreams..
