Usually I'm fine
Seeing you together,
Seeing the way her head leans on your shoulder,
Watching you put your arm around her,
But not today,
Not when I know how you feel,
Laugh at your jokes,
Listen to your music,
Not since I know that she's wrong for you
In every possible way.
I know you love her,
And I'm sure she loves you too,
But I can't help but wonder,
"Does she feel the way I do?
Does her chest fall
And her head spin
And her breathing stop
Because she knows shes with the person
That she really, truly, loves?"
If that's true,
Then I'll be fine
Knowing you're happy.
And that's all I need,
Despite my jealousy.
Seeing you smile,
That's the way I love you.
