"Are you doing fine?" I nodded and flashed a smile.

"Nothing hurts?"

"Nothing, doc" he nodded and closed the chart he was holding.

"Okay good. You just need to take some rest. Nurse Adam will look after you"

"Thank you, doc" my mom and I said in unison.

When the doctor got out of my room, mom looked at me and held my hand. I could see the tears in her eyes again that would begin to drop. I closed my eyes and held her hand before looking at her again.

"Mom, I'm doing fine, okay? Don't cry like I'm about to die" I jokingly said and laughed to cheer her up.

"I know. But how can I help it? I don't want to see my baby laying down on a hospital bed wearing a hospital gown with this thing on her hand" she was talking about the IV line nurse injected. I chuckled. She's whining again.

"I'll buy some food for you to eat while I'm gone" I nodded and before she left my room, she kissed my forehead and whispered...

"I love you" I smiled and replied...

"I love you more, mom"

(Someone will lay beside you later)

"Yah! Stop scaring me you little ugly dog" I irritatedly said but he kept on laughing.

(Someone will grab your feet while you're sleeping)

"Jake, I'm warning you. It's freaking midnight here and mom wasn't around" I sat down and grabbed my knees.

(There's someone under your be---)

"I'm going to cry if you will not stop--- *cough* *cough*"

(Y/n! Are you okay?)

"Y-yeah" I'm heavily catching my breath.

(Yah! Stop scaring me. If you're faking this, you should stop right now) I immediately grabbed my inhaler.

(Y/n... Y/n...) my breathing started to go back to normal.

(Yah! You're scaring me)

"No, I'm not"

(Yah! You should take some rest now. You better sleep)

"How am I supposed to sleep if you scared me, you grr"

(It's not true, there's no ghost though. You better take some rest, y/n. I also have classes tomorrow. Just call me if something happened, okay? But I won't wait for your call 'cause I know nothing will happen to you) he smiled and winked at me before bidding our good nights and good byes.

We ended the call. I lay down and decided to sleep. I turned side by side multiple times but still I couldn't sleep. I looked at my phone and it's almost 1 in the morning. I stood up and looked outside my window. The sky is slightly dark since the moon gives it brightness. All the buildings have their lights on. Cars are passing by the road but it's all calm. No horns, just engines and the sound of it passing through the cold wind.

I decided to get out of my room and stayed in the garden near my room. At first I got scared because there's someone sitting on the bench wearing a hospital gown too.
