Chapter 2

***Couple Days Later***

Anna was over again. We had both talked to our parents about going to London and we were allowed to go. I honestly could not wait and since we didn’t have that long till the world was meant to end. We decided to book the flights as soon as possible.

Anna and I were sitting in the kitchen eating whatever we could find, like we usually do.

‘Should we book the flights?’ Anna asked

‘Yeah, should we do it now?’ I asked Anna but she was already leaving the room.

Once she came back she had my laptop in her hands. She came over to the dining table and sat down beside me. She opened up the flights website and looked for flights to London. We found a perfect flight that left in three days. It was at 8am in the morning, which meant that we won’t land till around 6:46pm.

As we booked the flights I couldn’t help but start screaming and jumping with excitement. My mother came running in thinking that something’s wrong until she saw the computer screen. She just rolled her eyes and walked away.

‘I’m so excited! Oh My God!!!’ Anna screamed.

‘Oh My God, Oh My God, Oh My God!’

The two days went really fast. There was a lot of planning that Anna and I had to do. We had to find Accommodation and transportation. It doesn’t seem that hard but it was extremely frustrating, with different prices and dates.

It was my last night in California. I had already finished packing but still had a few items to put in, in the morning after I had used it. And with the early flight, it means that I would have to get up at around 4:30 which I was NOT excited about.

Anna and I are meeting each other at the airport so we could spend the last night with our families. But of cause once again, my family was working late. So I asked my older sister, Emily if she wanted to come over and hang out. She brought her boyfriend, Nate. Totally saw that coming. She never goes anywhere without him.

As I put the movie in the DVD player, I turned to see Emma and Nate cuddling up to each other on the couch. I don’t know why but every time I see them together like that. I always get depressed. But one day I’ll have that.. I hope.

My alarm clock woke me up at 4:30. It was horrible trying to drag myself out of bed that early. I went to go have a shower and get ready. I decided on wearing some black jeans, white blouse and some white vans. I straightened my hair and put on some make-up. I finished packing the rest of my things and took all of my bags down stairs. When I got to the bottom my mother came running up and giving me the biggest hug she has ever given me.

‘I can’t believe you’re going today. I’m gonna miss you so much.’ Mum said with tears falling down her face.

‘Don’t worry, I’ll be coming back.’

‘Linda, give her a break darling.’

Mum let go of the hug and gave me a little smile.

The taxi ride to the airport was peaceful. A few conversations started up but not one’s that dragged on. When we pulled up Anna came running over and hugged me. She started chanting ‘we’re going to London! We’re going to London!’ over and over. I couldn’t help but just join in with her.

The plane ride was long. But I managed to sleep most of the time. Anna had her headphones in the whole time but also got to sleep. We got out of the plane and went to go pick up our luggage. Of cause Anna and I had two big suitcases each and more bags for carry-on. We couldn’t go anywhere without a full set of closet.

We got a taxi and headed to the hotel where we would be staying at for the next couple of weeks, although we can stay longer if we want to.

The hotel was huge. There had to be no less than 10 levels. As you pulled up there was a big fountain with what it looked like a cupid pouring out water of its mouth. There were what looked like palm trees outside the tall white with gold rim doors on both sides. As you walked in, you were greeted with a door man opening the doors. As we got inside the hotel, we went to go check-in.

‘Ms Williams, here’s your key. You’ll be staying in room 506.’ said the woman behind the counter.

She passed me a gold card that read the hotel’s name on it and the room number. We made our way up to our room and opened the door two a room that was incredibly posh. Once you walked in you were in the lounge/sitting area. On your right you had a bedroom that held a large bed in the middle with gold and white sheets. To the side stood tall white closet and on the other side was a huge balcony that had a view of the city. It had an ensuite that was double the size of mine back at home. On the other side of the sitting room was the exact same thing.

Of cause the first thing Anna does is run right to the bed and jumped on it lying completely in the middle, pillows and blankets flying everywhere.

‘This is AMAZING!!!’ Anna yelled while starting to jump on the bed.

Anna and I’s parents are rich and can afford to stay in hotels like this.

I placed my bags at the side of her bed and joined her in jumping while we giggled.

Once we had stopped and we were both lying down. I stood up and looked at Anna.

‘Anna, you know what time it is..’

She stood up and in unison we yelled ‘ONE DIRECTION TIME!!!!!’
