I'm sorry, what?!

Shinso had been adjusting to his new life for three weeks now, his bond with a certain angry blonde growing in that time.

While the two were in different classes, they made up for it by hanging out after school in Bakugo's dorm, during lunch on the rooftop, or at either of their homes.

After a few weeks, Bakugo began to notice that he always felt hot around the tired boy, unable to sit still, like he had ants in his clothes.

He was confused, so naturally, he went to his other friends for help...

Sero, being the dad of the group, had a nice, calm conversation with Bakugo about his feelings.

Kaminari almost short circuited because he was teasing Bakugo about having a crush, and Bakugo didn't like that very much.

Jirou was cool about it, trying to help the angry blonde find ways to ask him out without looking like an idiot.

Kirishima was in his usual "that's so manly!" Mood, but he was still supportive, trying to hype him up about it.

Mina almost had a heart attack when she found out she wasn't told. She gave Bakugo a stern talking-to about telling her these things. She then proceeded to try and dress him up and ask him out now, which only pissed Bakugo off.

He sighed, making a new group chat with him, Sero, and Jirou, seeing as he trusted those two to help.

Dynamight - how do you know if it's a crush or if you love them or something? Also, I don't know the difference between platonical and romantic love.

Aux cord - well, does your face heat up around him? Do you have a hard time sitting still, like there's sand in your underwear?

Flex tape - are more sweaty than usual? Does your entire body feel hot? Does your chest ache and your stomach turn?

Dynamight - I can't sit still around him, basically all of what you guys suggested. I can't get him out of my head either, his voice, his eyes, his hair, his face, even his smell. I've also been having... Dreams. Not wet dreams per say, but, they are about him.

Aux cord - oh my gods, Sero.

Flex tape - yes mi amor?

Aux cord - our child is in love.

Aux cord - I'm afraid so.

Dynamight - what the fuck. Wait, are you two dating?

Aux cord - it's a friends with benefits minus the benefits type thing. We're not official, but we're stupid flirts.

Flex tape - Si. Very stupid, very flirty.

Dynamight - okay, now that we've cleared up the fact I'm suffering, wait, no, in love, how the hell do I tell him?

Aux cord - most people go stupid when trying to ask someone out, don't do that. The little things matter, what does he like? Where does he enjoy being? What foods does he like?

Flex tape - what music does he like? Yes, that is important. What's his taste in clothing? Also important. Is he a girly guy? Take him to Clair's. Emo. Hot Topic trip.

Dynamight - I guess he likes cats... A lot. He likes places that aren't swarmed with people, crowds make him anxious. Definitely emo, both in style and music, he's constantly blasting MCR.

Flex tape - this is Jirou, my phone died. Anyway, take him to a cat Cafe, then. They're quiet, have cats, and he can wear whatever he wants. You can bring ear buds to listen to music with.

Dynamight - but how do I ask him? I can't just go up to him and go "I'm madly in love with you want to go to the cat Cafe down the street?"

Flex tape - it's Sero, uh, yeah you can. Maybe not those words exactly, depends on who you're in love with. If they're loud and out going like Kirishima, they'd probably enjoy a more loud and out going statement like that. If they're like me or Jirou, they'd probably want it to be a more personal, heartfelt confession.

Dynamight - you two have had a lot of time to think about this, have you?

Flex tape - ... Maybe.

Dynamight - it's Shinso, the brainwashing kid from General Studies.

Aux cord - I held Kaminari down to get him to charge it, I'm sorry it's SHINSO?? NOOOOOOO NOT MY EMO BOY!!!!!!

Flex tape - the cardinal sin. We're losing our two boys to each other. This blasphemy.

Dynamight - that's a better reaction than I expected. Wait, I think I know how I'm going to ask him out.

~a few days later~

Shinso opened his dorm door, only for a Hershey kiss tied to a string, hanging from the ceiling, hit him in the face.

"Huh?" He took the kiss from the string, only to see said string go down the hallway.

Curious, he began to follow the string, getting an assortment of new treats. A cat plush, a big choker from Hot Topic, different rings for piercings he'd wanted, even skirts he'd liked, all the way up to the rooftop.

Bakugo was standing where the string ended, tied to his pinky. Shinso blushed, realizing what was happening.

All the treats were tied to the string. Bakugo was tied to the string. Shinso walked up to him, setting the things down at his feet.

Bakugo swallowed the lump in his throat. Shinso looked so pretty in the morning light.

"Shinso... We've been friends for a little over a month now, and I've realized that I've sort of..."

"I've fallen for you, too." Shinso interrupted.

"Sorry, uh... Yeah, you stole my heart, and although Dad is going to kill me for falling in love with a loud blonde, I'm glad you're the blonde I fell for." The tired boy's face was beet red as he said this.

Bakugo was baffled, at a loss for words, until a few words finally made their way to the front of his mind. "Would you like to... Go on a date.. with me?"

Shinso nodded softly. "I'd love that, actually." He hadn't smiled yet, he still couldn't remember how, but he was happy.
