Semi Finals (Chapter 26)

The quarter Final was finally over and thankfully the remaining fighters which consistent of Gray Fullbuster, Ultear Fullbuster, Juvia Lockser and Fumikage Tokoyami were given a 30 minute break to prepare themselves mentally for the Semi-Finals. That's why we could see Gray sitting in one of the private lockers that were reserved for him and sitting around him was his family. 

Everyone could see from Yukiko facial expression that she was obviously disappointed because she was unable to proceed to the Semi-Finals she knew that her magic has it's limit and that it was bad luck that she was paired against Gray who happened to have many aces in his sleeve so she never stood a chance to begin with but her defeat was not the main problem of her disappointment.  

Ur: Yukiko my dear you might not have proceeded to the Semi-Finals as you wished but you did very good for your first year here. 

Yukiko (Sigh): Mother, defeat is just merely a reminder that I have still a lot to learn but I'm disappointed about the fact that people think so low of me. 

Ur stayed quiet she knew that Yukiko had her pride damaged after the crowd pretty much started booing Gray for not holding back in his fight against Yukiko and treating her as a warrior like any other participant it left a bitter taste in Yukiko mouth. 

Silver (Chuckle): Yukiko that's how life works me and my sister had faced this kind of treatment when we were still teens, of course at the beginning we were quite angry and let's just say your mother had send multiple people to the hospital for just merely looking down on her. 

Everyone in the room sweat drop while Ur blushed in embarrassment at having her past come to light as she scratched the back of her head as remembering how many people she beat for just making a comment about her being a female. 

Gray: Just ignore them Yukiko they are merely a pests if you think every time about people's opinion you will never be able to grow stronger you're not under any obligation to please them if they don't like you then they can merely fuck off.

Silver seem to nod proudly at his son comment while Ur smiled at seeing Gray trying to be supportive in his own way of course. 

Ultear: Agreed, at the end of the day there are people who support you and those who are against you the point in all of this is that you done well and that's what matters here so let's work hard so next year you could reach the Semi-Finals maybe even the Finals if you train hard of course. 

Yukiko seem to smile at seeing how her family are supporting her and not judging her at all as she nodded her head feeling a weight had been lifted off her shoulder as she looked at Gray, Ultear and Juvia. 

Yukiko: Thank you and also sorry for wasting your time on me. 

Juvia: Juvia don't have problem with helping a fellow friend. 

Ultear: We're sisters Yukiko you're well being is much important then those silly matches. 

Gray (Smile): Agreed!

Silver then look at the clock to see that only 10 minutes are left before the Semi-Final start as stand up on his feet along with Ur. 

Silver: The Semi-Final should start in 10 minutes make sure to prepare yourself and just know we're rooting for the three of you.
