This actually made the nomu's abilities, unable to work, so all mights first punch eliminated the nomu.

After a bit shigiraki woke up, Izuku talked to him, after a while, shigiraki saw the light and that he may be bad, but it wasn't his fault, he was more broken than evil, and so shigiraki got help, he learned he can undo his quirk.
Kurogiri was also redeemed, he learned to control his quirks presence, his quirk turned blue and shrunk down, revealing who he really was.
This helped them repent, izuku did learn that all for one, was merely using them for his own gain, since the truth would hurt the heroes, while make three of them lose faith.
