It's been two weeks. Shockingly, he has made it through without being discovered. And even more surprisingly, Parker had made friends with the kids he found overly annoying on the first day. He sighed as he got up from his lunch table, one away from "the annoying kids".
"Ishmael!" Cam called
Sam elbowed her to quiet down as Cam, the loud one from the first day, ran through the mass of people attempting to get back to class. Cam flicked Parkers ear and ran ahead laughing.
"Ugh!" Parker yelled, grumbling all the way back to class. It was Friday so his orchestra class was in the school's piano lab. WHICH HE HATED!
There was not any space for his cello. He walked into the small storage closet, grabbing said cello. He lugged it through the hall, almost hitting two people. Muttering sorry, he turned into the piano lab.
"Sup chinchilla?" Caroline asked, glancing up at him from her iPad. He hissed at her, actually hissed. He hated that nickname, but she kept calling him that anyway. Sitting down in front of her, he pulled out the cello and bow, poking her with it. She did the same with her flute.
It was unusual that their teacher, Mrs. Imdora, let them go to freshmen lunch even on a Friday. But today she had. She immediately told them to take out their Beethoven piece. He laughed whenever he made a mistake, and Caroline texted him when she made her mistakes. Snickering, he held up his iPad and took a stalker pic, sending it to the group chat.
She glared at him, flipping him off when the teacher wasn't looking. The bell rang and they both groaned, not wanting to go to the next class. Theology, with Ms. Lebana. Caroline thought she had a voice a therapist would use, always calm and quiet. She also, always said the words "okay?" and "and what does that mean to you?"
Parker of course was late to class, he always leaves his bible in his locker, instead of having it in his bag. Caroline tried to cover for him, saying he was just putting his cello away. But sometimes the other classmates would tell the teacher the truth.
"She is probably getting her bible." He heard one of the other students say. Internally groaning, he walked inside. Ms. Lebana glared at him.
"Parker, what am I communicating to you through my non verbal words?" She asked, coming over to him, making strangling gestures. His group of friends burst out in laughter. The others smirked. Kara smirked, before returning to what Parker joked was looking at pictures of Legolas. Emily turned around and made a comment to him. Ms. Lebena sighed before returning back to the board, writing notes.
This is so cheesy. Every single day it's the same. God loves us. Everything means something else. God loves us.- Caroline texted
The class continued and while writing down notes, the group continuously texted each other. Except for Cam, who was working on her Wattpad story. Occasionally, of course, implanting Supernatural gifs.
*briiiiing*
The bell finally rang, all the students letting out a relieved sigh. They all ignored Ms. Lebena and pushed their way out the door.On his way back to his room, Parker heard his name being shouted.
"Parker!"
"Ish!"
"Ismael!"
All his friends showed up and crowded around him in the sidewalk. Cam jumping onto his back.
"Ish! We're recording a video for that project today. Are you coming with?" Sam asked, the group all waiting expectantly
He sighed, he NEVER stayed after, why did they keep asking him.
"I can't, I have archery then I want to cube." He replied, much to the group's annoyance. They all groaned and rolled their eyes.
"God Parker, are you a guy?" Cam asked.
Parker stiffened, eyes widening.
